Module 4

Music I．教学内容分析

本模块以“Music”为话题，先是介绍东西方乐器的名称，接着让学生通过对中国著名演奏家刘芳的采访，了解中国古典音乐；通过学习表达情感的句式，表达对音乐的喜好；通过文化视角了解世界音乐领域的最高奖项——格莱美奖。学生在了解音乐知识的同时，更好地认识到音乐广受欢迎的原因以及音乐在日常生活中的作用和地位。

Introduction介绍了一些东西方的乐器，要求学生简单了解乐器的不同特征和悠久历史。

Reading and Vocabulary部分是一篇采访报道，要求学生从采访中了解琵琶演奏家刘芳的成长过程和她在该领域取得的成就，并从中学习一些音乐方面的词汇和一些与中国古典音乐、民族音乐相关的知识。这些要求在之后的各项活动中都有体现。

Grammar部分以Reading and Vocabulary中一些现在完成进行时的句子为素材，让学生逐步掌握现在完成进行时的用法，加深对该语法项目的理解。

Listening and Vocabulary部分是两首歌曲及一段相关的对话，要求学生根据所听材料，判断说话者对歌曲的不同态度，从中学习和掌握一些描述感受的词汇，同时向学生简单介绍歌词是如何押韵的。

Function要求学生通过听力训练，学会表达不同的情绪，复习和巩固一些表达不同情绪的词汇。

Speaking通过小组讨论，让学生表达自己对音乐的感受，阐述对音乐的理解。

Writing部分是一封笔友的来信，要求学生根据自己对音乐的理解和认识与对方进行交流。学生可以根据自己班级对音乐的理解和认识写一封同信，提高跨文化的交际能力。

Everyday English部分给学生列举了一些日常生活用语，让学生更好地掌握一些表达情绪的句式。

Cultural Corner重点介绍了世界音乐领域的最高荣誉——格莱美奖，通过阅读让学生了解该奖项的名称由来、组织机构、奖项构成以及一些成功音乐人士对该奖项的看法。

Task部分提供角色扮演的语境，让学生组织一个访谈形式的电视／电台节目，就某一音乐形式展开讨论。

Module File 是模块所学内容的概括，归纳了需要掌握的词汇和语法点，使学生对本模块所学内容一目了然。

II．教学重点和难点

1．教学重点

(4)学习相关的音乐方面的词汇。

2．教学难点

(1)让学生认识和理解音乐在口常生活巾的地位和作用。

(2)让学生明白爵乐的意义——音乐是无国界的；同时提高学生对民族音乐的欣赏水彤

Teaching Goals：

1．To arouse Ss’ interest in learning grammar．

2．To develop Ss’ grammatical features．

3．To enable Ss to realize the importance of grammar learning．

Step 1．Leading in

1．Ask Ss to prepare their homework to retell the story．

For your reference：

Liu Fang，as an international music star，is famous for her work with traditional Chinese musical instruments．Born in 1974，she was taught by her mother to play the yueqin when she was five years old．for her mother is a Dianju actress．Then Liu Fang has played the pipa since the age of six，and she has given concerts since she was eleven．When she was 1 5 years old．she went to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and studied the pipa and the guzheng there．After graduation，she went back home to Kunming and worked as a pipa soloist of the Kunming Music and Dance Troupe．In 1996，Liu Fang moved to Canada with her husband and has lived there since then．

She has had understood Chinese classical and folk music so well and played the instruments so well that she can show us the spirit of Chinese traditional music．Besides，Liu Fang enjoys performing in public．She likes the atmosphere in a concert and would feel depressed or lonely if there is no concerts for a long time．and enjoys sharing feelings and ideas with friends and music lovers after the concert．She loves her career and she wishes to work with many master musicians and to be able to compose her own music．with elements from different cultures．0ne of her goals is to introduce classical Chinese pipa and guzheng music to every corner of the world．

2．Pick out the sentences of the present perfect progressive tense in the following dialogue．

Step 2．Grammar

Purpose：To enable Ss to master more knowledge about grammatical rules of the present 2

perfect progressive tense．

Ask Ss to finish Activity 1 and Activity 2 on P34．

Suggested Answers to Activity 1：

“Liu Fang has played the pipa since the age of six” means Liu Fang still plays the pipa．

“She’s given concerts since she was eleven” means she has given concerts regularly since the age of eleven

Suggested Answers to Activity 2：

(1)In Activity 1 the grammatical form is “have／has+v—ed”，while in Activity 2，it’s “have／has+ been+ v—ing”，which in Chinese，means“现在完成进行时”．

(2)a 2．Presentation

Give Ss some explanation of the present perfect progressive tense．

(1)现在完成进行时表示从过去开始，一直到现在的动作，这个动作可能刚刚结束，也可能还要继续下去，常与表示一段时间的状语连用。例如：

They have been working in America ever since 1999．从1999年他们就一直在美国工作。

Where have you been? I’ve been looking for you for a long time．你去哪里了?我已经找你好长时间了。

(2)现在完成进行时与现在完成时的主要区别。

(3)应注意的是有些不能用于现在进行时的动词，如be，have，like，love，know，believe，hate等，同样也不能用于现在完成进行时，而只能用于现在完成时。有时现在完成进行时与现在完成时区别不大。
