教学过程:

Step 1:warm-up: sing an English song The 12 days of Christmas(圣诞节快到了,所以课前歌声都是以圣诞为主题,也为开课做准备。)

Greeting: Morning, boys and girls!

What day is it today?

It’s Thursday.

How do you spell Thursday?

T-h-u-r-s-d-a-y

What’s the date?

It’s Dec. 21st.

Lead-in: Really?? 3 days later is Christmas Day. This Christmas card is for my brother. He’s in Singapore. It’s too far and time is not enough. He can’t get my card. What should I do? Who can help me?(提前用卡纸做了一个大大的圣诞贺卡,一是方便学生观看,二是后面的教学环节要使用。提出如何才能把圣诞贺卡送给我弟弟时,学生们议论纷纷,开始给我出主意。有个学生说到了e-card。)

S1: You can call him.

S2: You can use the videotel.

S3: Why don’t you use e-card? Step 2: T: e-card? Who can tell us what is e-card?(由于四年级学生的词汇量不够,因此学生可以用中文来解释什么是e-card.)

T: Really? Look!(有学生说到是电子贺卡,PPT展示e-card图片,并解释e代表着electronic。)

This is e-card. E means electronic. ①

板书electronic,老师用福尼斯拼读e-lec-tro-nic;

Sound after me;

Practice:boys & girls/ team by team/ together. (板书electronic,用福尼斯拼读单词。老师先示范拼读,学生认真倾听。然后老师带读,最后是分男女生,小组和整体练习。)

PPT用三张图片来解释electro-的意思。

We send cards on the internet.) S3: E-cards save time. (Because they do not go slow, they go fast by computer.) (学生通读课文后不难找出答案,短文中有总结性的语句,学生可以直接使用。学生给出总结性语句后,我再适当地用短文中的其它语句加以解释,帮助学生更好理解课文。) B.True or False.

(通过刚才通读课文,回答问题。学生对课文有个大致的了解。这里设计改错题有助于学生理解课文,加深课文印象。) 1.

E-cards do not go slow. (They go fast by computer. And you can receive my e-cards instant.) C. Let’s listen to the tape and repeat the passage.(完成判断题后,我们听录音跟读课文。主要是听语音语调,模仿磁带发音,力争给学生最纯正的发音。)

D. Read the passage by yourself and fill in the blanks.(经过跟读模仿后,学生自己通读课文,并完成课文填空题。也是考察对课文内容的理解和记忆。)

We can see, e-cards are useful. Here I want share two famous letter with you.(分享《傅雷家书》和《亲爱的安德烈》两本书,是因为刚才讨论了纸质信件并不是一无是处,还因为这两本书具有教育意义。体现了父母对子女深沉的爱,也是对学生的情感教育。)

‘Fule’s Home Letters’is talking about a father’s love to his son.

‘Dear Andre’ is about letters between a mother and her kids. You can read it after class.

Step 4: Except the paper cards, e-cards, do you know other ways to communicate with others?(除了本课我们学习的e-cards,学生想想我们还有哪些和别人沟通交流的方式,一个小小的拓展。学生可以学到一些交流方式的英文表达方式。)

(QQ, we-chat, telephone, MSN, e-mail, short message, fax, twitter, microblog, smart watches, watch phone and so on.) There are so many ways to contact with your friends. Do it regularly! Step 5: Now that my litter brother can not receive my paper cards. Let’s send a Christmas e-card to him.(给学生演示如何发电子贺卡。) ①
