能够借助图片读懂本单元的小故事，并在教师的指导下进行表演

启发学生思考，看问题要全面，不能只看局部

二．教学过程：

1.

Guessing game 师：Today,I take a very interesting story for you .There are two lead roles .Let’s guess who they are . I’ll give you many tips one by one. Anytime you know the answer ,you can use “Is it a \an ...?”to guess. ①It is an animal.It is big.It has big ears.It has a short tail.It has a long nose. ②It is a small animal.It has a small body.It has two small hands.It has two small feet.It has sharp teeth.At night, it always comes out to eat. ③用黑色眼镜挡住老鼠眼睛，出示问题：

( ) What’s the matter with it?

A. It can’t see.

B. It can’t sing.

Presentation a.图片出示一头大象和六只瞎老鼠，告诉孩子们他们就是今天这个故事的主角。

挡住大象，听声音。

师：What is the elephant doing? 生：It’s sleeping. 再听声音（被东西撞倒的声音）

师：What happened ? 生进行合理想象并猜测。

b.师：The mice are blind.Do they know “What it is “?What will the mice say?

生探讨，汇报。“What is it?”播放录音，纠正答案。

c.出示老鼠和大象身体的图片，告诉学生老鼠摸到大象的身体，但是，它认为那是一堵墙。猜测，老鼠会说什么？

生：Is it a wall ? 播放录音，订正答案。

猜测大象会说什么，并播放录音订正答案。

生：No,it’s my body . 生两两一组表演对话。

d.同种方式导入图3、图4、图5.

e.出示大象图片，生观察，说说：What’s the matter with the leg? What’s the matter with the tail?读图6，说说“How does the elephant feel ?”生汇报答案，并试着用大象的语气读一读书中原话“I’m an elephant.I’m very angry!”

再读图6，根据图片一一填空，并用适当的语气读出来。

通读全文，圈出wall snake fan tree rope ，在body nose ear leg tail下划线。

Is it a rope? Oh, no! It’s my tail. My tail hurts.

Is it a tree? Oh, no! It’s my leg.My leg hurts.

Extension 两分钟的时间准备，分组角色表演。
