Step 1 Greeting &Warm up

1. Greeting: Good morning,boys and girls. I am your new English teacher today.You can call me Miss Chen.Nice to meet you.

OK, Do you like singing?

2. First, let’s listen and watch carefully. You may follow it if you want. 3. Do you like the song? Now follow me. (老师带着学生用手势表示歌词内容,学生边唱边学做动作on、in、under.) 4. This time, let’s try to sing and do some actions together. (再次播放歌曲,学生加上动作一起唱) 5.Review some words.(play a game:“sharp eyes”) You may say out the words quickly and loudly.(结束之后进行表扬点评)

Step 2 Presentation

Learn the new words. 1. T: (手中拿着一只盒子) Now boys and girls, Let’s play another game,and learn the new words.look, what’s in my hand ? Who can guess?(摇一摇盒子发出声音) S: pen、pencil... 2.

T: Maybe.

Look, it’s a bird. (从盒子里取出小鸟)提问:Where’s the bird?(引导学生回答It’s in the box)。

3. T: Today ,we will learn lesson 8: It’s in the box.Read follow me please.(生跟读课题)

Step 3 practice

Story time 1. Listen and choose (1)

(老师让学生闭上眼睛,然后把小鸟藏起来): Where is the bird now? Is it in

the park? In the classroom? In the tree? Here is a story about the bird. Please listen carefully, and then choose the right answer.

(播放课文录音)

(2) T: Where is the bird? (展示PPT)

S: It’s in the tree.(引导学生回答)

T: Is it in the tree? Let’s go into the story and check your answer. (播放课文动画核对答案) (3) T: Is the bird in the tree? S: Yes! (教师点评) 2. Listen and find

T: The bird stops in many places. Look, it’s here and here. (PPT红圈显示1、7两幅图中鸟的位置) But in some of the pictures, we cannot see it. (小鸟分别飞到了哪些地方呢?请你们来找一找。)

T:Let’s watch the cartoon again. Please listen and find the birds.

(播放课文动画,在每个需要完成的画面上暂停核对,分段视频展示) 3. Read and learn the story

(1) T:

Now boys and girls, check your pictures. Let’s read the story together, OK? (出第一幅图) Picture1. Let’s read it together.

T:

Beautiful means nice! (出中文意思,读beautiful和How beautiful! 教师范读时注意语气和动作)。T: Who can follow them?(出示小提示:注意读出故事中人物的情绪)

T:where’s the bird? 生回答,T:Good, it’s in the classroom. Let’s go on! (2) T: And Picture 2, look, where’s the bird?

S: It’s under the desk.

T: Yes. It’s under the desk. (PPT出现单词卡under,读under。小组读,男女生读等形式)

(3)Now who can read this? (PPT中出现对话,配以句子条展示) S1: Where’s the bird?

S2: It’s under the desk. (注意纠正语音语调)

(4) T:

Let’s go on the story. Look at the pictures,where’s the bird?

S: It’s behind the door T: Yes. It’s behind the door.(简单教授单词behind)

(5) T: Look at the pictures, what does the boy say? The bird is not here. Let’s go on to find the bird. (6) Look ,where’s the bird now? S: It’s on the chair. T: Yes. It’s on the chair.(PPT出现单词卡on,读on。全班读,小组读,开火车读等形式)

Listen and follow the sentence, Who can read?(注意模仿语音语调)

(7) T: The bird fly away. Let’s go on to find the bird.

Look ,where’s the bird now?

S: It’s in the desk. T: Yes. It’s in the boy’s desk.(PPT出现单词卡in,读in。全班读,小组读,开火车读等形式。)

(8) T:

Look , the bird leaves the classroom. where’s the bird now?

S: It’s in the tree.

T: Yes.

At last , It’s in the tree.

T: OK. Now we have read the story together. Listen to the tape and follow.(全班一起朗读后,小组和角色扮演进行朗读)

Step 4情感教育

T: Which place does the bird like?

Desk、

chair or the tree?

生回答后,T小结:Yes,

the bird likes the tree. So we should love the animals and protect the environment. Can you do that? Step 5 Extension

1. Ask and answer (1)T: OK, listen, which animal is coming? (播放小猫小狗的叫声)。

T: Yes, they are the dog and the cat. Now they are playing hide and seek, let’s join them.

(2) T: look ,where’s the cat?

S: It’s in the box.

T: Let’s check.(播放录音让学生听)

(3) T: look ,the cat hide again,where’s the cat?

S: It’s on the box.

T: Let’s check.(播放录音让学生听)

Yes, It’s on the box now.跟读.

(4) T: where’s the cat now?

S: It’s under the box.

T: Let’s check.(播放录音让学生听)

Yes, It’s under the box now.跟读.

T: Can you use the sentence to ask and answer?(引导学生用where’s the cat ?

It’s on、in、under the box.合作进行对话。)

(5) 完成这一部分后打开P22跟读。

2. Pair work (ask and answer with your partner)

(1) T: The dog and the cat are very naughty. Look ,they are playing in the room. So many things in the room. Can you use :“Where 's the...? It's on/ in/ under the...”

to practice with your partner? (2) T: Let me show you. Who want to be my partner?

T: where’s the ...?

S: It's on/ in/ under the...

T: Clear? Practice like this. 2 minutes.(请两到三组展示)

T: You did a good job!

You can practice again after class.

3. Chant.

T: Let’s chant together. 教师先示范,生可根据句子进行chant,或者自行创编。
