The teaching design of topic revision Getting ready to travel 1. Teaching aims and objectives: A. Knowledge and grammar 1). Ss are able to use the structure “be going to do” to describe the things they plan to do; 2). Review some words and expressions in module1-6, eg. ride a bike, market, supermarket, be good at and so on; 3). Ss are able to use “be good at” and “can/can’t” to choose a good travel partner. 4). Ss are able to recall the different ways of transportation, eg. taxi, bus, ... B. Ability 1). Ss learn how to make a travel plan; 2). Ss know about the preparation of travel and try to write their own ones; 3). Ss are able to act out the conversation of shopping. C. Feelings and attitudes 1). Sometimes we need not only do material preparation but also spiritual preparation; 2). Encourage students to work individually or work as a team; 3). Encourage students to record what they saw, what they heard, what they thought. Motivate them to be active, optimistic and insightful to life by travel.
