一．目标依据

依据新课标，要求小学五年级学生能在图片的帮助下读懂简单的小故事；能根据录音模仿说话；能做简单的角色扮演。敢于开口，表达中不怕出错；积极参与各种课堂学习活动，与其他同学积极配合和合作；能在教师的指导下用英语做游戏并在游戏中进行简单的交际；理解和运用有关下列功能的语言表达形式：问候、介绍、告别、请求、致谢、道歉等。

2. 教材和学情分析

这是本单元的story time。学生已经学习了日期的表达以及I can’t…I want to…句型。本课时的设计思路是引导学生根据图片在语境中理解小故事，在情景中巩固、运用故事中的核心句型，并能对小故事进行角色扮演，其中，生词句是学生理解和朗读的难点，教师在学生学习过程中要注意适当解释与练习。

目标

1．借助图片和录音，通过师生问答，能够理解故事内容。

2．通过跟读录音、复述对话，能够用正确的语音、语调，适当的动作、表情表演故事。

3.通过故事中Zoom的经历，让学生了解英语谚语“Practice makes perfect”的深刻含义。

评价任务

(通过以上的学习和总结，学生可以给故事一个合适的题目practice makes perfect) 3. Read after the tape 教师出示完整对话。学生逐句跟读录音，教师随机请学生站起来某一句话。教师注意提醒学生在跟读的过程中要注意模仿录音中的语音、语调,在加上适当动作、表情。
