I. Teaching aims:

1. Students can listen, read and say the new words and sentences:

VI. Teaching procedures:

Step 1. Warming-up

1.

Greetings. T: Class begins! Good morning/ afternoon, students. Ss: Good morning/ afternoon, teacher. T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you? Ss: Fine, thank you. [设计意图]

以师生间的问候进入课堂,迅速营造温馨,愉悦的教学气氛,使师生均能以良好的精神状态进入课堂教学。

2.

Let’s sing a song together.

You’re happy.

[设计意图]

学生齐唱歌曲,带动学生的学习积极性,集中学生的注意力。歌曲切合教学主题,引出教学话题。

3. Game: Magic eyes Review some verbs and their past tense. (CAI) is — was

eat — ate

play —played go — went

stop — stopped

see — saw

can — could make —made

can't — couldn't

[设计意图] 利用多媒体幻灯片,快速出示动词的原形和过去式。通过magic eyes的小游戏,快速调动学生的学习情绪。复习动词和动词的过去式,为学习本节课内容做好铺垫。

4.Free talk.

What did you do yesterday?

I ... yesterday. [设计意图] 通过学生两两之间的语言练习交流,复习之前的动词过去式的表达,培养学生的语言交流能力,创造语言交流的氛围。

Step 2: Lead in 1.

T: Children, please guess about me.

a. What was the weather yesterday?

b. What did I eat yesterday?

c. What did I do yesterday?

d. How did I feel? (sad, happy, angry) [设计意图] 通过猜测游戏,引出教师一天的生活经历和心情感受,为后面的文本教学作铺垫。

Group two: He/ She is _______. (hungry, thirsty, bored, tired)

Why is he/she...? [设计意图] 通过观看教材第一部分视频和一组连线练习题,复习happy,sad,angry,bored,tired等表示心情和状态的形容词。

Step 3:Presentation 1.

Introduce the role in the text:Zara.

What’s the matter with Zara? She is sad.

[设计意图] 通过图片观察,介绍文本人物。设置问题任务,引发思考。

2.

Listen to the text and choose.

Why was Zara sad?

A. Zara couldn't watch TV. B. Zara couldn't go out. [设计意图] 带着简单的任务听课文,选择正确的选项。文本学习的第一步,了解课文的主要意思,掌握简单的基本信息。

2. Read the text and fill in the blanks. (1) Yesterday, she helped her mum make a cake. (2) After that, she was hungry. She ate the cake.

She was thirsty. She drank some water. Teach and read: drink-drank Play a spelling game: pink, sink, wink, chink;

bank, hank, tank, sank. (3)

Then Zara went out to play. She was very happy. [设计意图] 文本学习第二步,抓住更多的细节,掌握重点句型和词汇,突破重难点。学生自主阅读文本,通过图片和关键词的引导,回答问题,补充句子。在文本中学习新单词,注重情境,更有助于学生对新词的理解和运用。

5. Let’s read! a. Read together. b. Read picture by picture. [设计意图] 让学生齐读.分图片朗读,加强学生对课文的熟悉度,进一步锻炼学生自我的认读能力。

Step 4:Practice

Let’s talk! Retell the text with the key words and pictures. Key words: yesterday, after that, then, sad, hungry, thirsty, happy.

在学习文本后,通过图片和关键词的提示,能够复述文本,引导学生整句输出,简单地介绍Zara的一天。

2.

Practice: Finish the tasks. Work in groups to tell your daily life. eg:

Yesterday, I ... I was...

After that, I ... I was...

Then, I ... I was...

联系实际,学生将所学的知识密切联系起来,学习教材中的表达,把输入转变为输出,培养学生的英语表达能力。

Step 5:Homework

Write some sentences about your life in a day. [设计意图] 教师不仅要注重课堂教学,还应该重视课外延伸。
