一、教学目标

1、

能听、说、认读并会使用短语： on foot， by bike， by car，

by bus， by train。

2、

能听、说、认读短语：by plane， by ship， by subway。

3、

能正确运用句型：How do come/go to there？ I go to there……

二、教学重点、难点

a）

掌握短语：on foot， by bike， by car， by bus， by train的用法。

b）

掌握单词subway的发音。

c）

能正确运用句型How do you come to…？ I come/to … by bike/bus/car…进行交流。

d）

本课时所学短语和句型在实际生活中的正确运用。

三、教学准备

教学挂图、录音机、单词卡片、交通工具图片、玩具自行车、小汽车、公共汽车、火车、飞机等。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Greetings

T： Hello， boys and girls.

Ss： Hello，Miss yu.

T： Nice to see you again.

Ss： Nice to see you，too.

T： Do you have a happy summer vacation？

Ss： Yes，we do. What about you， Miss Bai？

T： I'm happy， too. How are you today？

Ss： Fine， thank you. How are you？

T： Very well， thanks.

（设计意图：课前师生进行简单的会话，既可以拉近师生间的距离，又可以培养学生在真实语言情景中进行自由交际的能力，使学生快速融入到英语学习中。）

Step 2 Warming up

T： Let's sing an English song： Nice to see you again. OK？

Ss： OK！

（设计意图：师生共同演唱，缓解了学生的紧张情绪，打破了“开口难”的局面，为下一步的学习营造了一个轻松、愉快的环境。）

Step 3 Free talk

Group 1

S1： Hello！ I'm Mike. Who are you？

S2： Hi！ I'm Jack. Nice to meet you.

S1： Nice to meet you， too. How old are you？

S2： I'm eleven. How old are you？

S1： I'm eleven， too. What subjects do you like？

S2： I like English and Music. What about you？

S1： I like PE， English and Art. Let's come to school！

S2： OK！

Group 2

S3： Hello， Sarah！

S4： Hello， any. Nice to see you again.

S3： Nice to see you， too. Where are you from？

S4： I'm from Shanghai. And you？

S3： I'm from Xi'an. What are you doing？

S4： I'm talking with you. Do you like bananas？

S3：

Yes， I do. Do you like pears？

S4： No， I don't. I like apples.

Group 3

S5： Hi，Mary. When is your birthday？

S6： Hi，Lucy. My birthday is on October lth， National Day. What about you？

S5： My birthday is on March 12th. What do you do on the weekends？

S6： I often play football. Sometimes I paly computer games. What about you？

S5： I usually do my homewoke. Sometimes I go shopping with my mother.

S6： Which season do you like best？

S5： I like summer best. And you？

S6： I like winter best. Because I can skate in winter.

（设计意图：请学生运用所学知识进行free talk表演，不仅创造了浓厚的英语氛围，还调动了学生进行交流的积极性，更提高了学生的口语表达能力。）

Step 4 Presentation

T： Today we will learn Unit 4 How do you come to school？

1. Let's start.

T： I come to school by bike. What about you？

出示玩具自行车）

S1： Me too.

S2： I come to school by bus. （出示玩具公共汽车）

S3： I come to school by car. （出示玩具小汽车）

T： good！ Look at these pictures. There are many ways to go somewhere. Do you know what they are？（出示let's start 部分的教学挂图，用直观的图像将学生带入了新的情景之中）

2. Let's chant.

T： Open your books. Look at the chant and listen to the recorder carefully， please. Then， read after me.

Ss：

…

T： Listen， read and chant together.

（师生边唱边做动作：唱到on foot 时跺脚；唱到 by bike / car / bus / plane / train 时举起相应的玩具）

3. Let's learn.

（1） T： How do I come to school？ I come to school on foot.（边走边做回答提示，接着提问一个学生） How do you come to school？

S1： I come to school by car. （出示玩具小汽车）

S2： I come to school by train. （出示玩具火车）

T： OK！ Now let's look at these picture of vehicles， then answer my questions， please.（教师指图片，学生用英语表达，随之板书）

T： How do you come to Canada？

S1： I come to Canada by plane.

T： How do you come to Shanghai？

S2： I come to Shanghai by train.

T： How do you come to Xi'an？

S3： I come to Xi'an by bus.

T： How do you come to Dalian？

S4： I come to Dalian by ship.

T： How do you come to school？

S5： I come to school by bike.

T： How do you come to Yan'an？

S6： I come to Yan'an by car.

T： Good！ Everybody， how do you come to school？

Ss： We come to school on foot.

T： Great！ Now let's look at the new word， please.

CAI： 'by subway'. These are subways.

T： Can you spell this word？

Bb： sub + way = subway.

Ss：

（齐声回答）Yes， we can. S-U-B-W-A-Y， subway.

T： OK！，Everyone.How do you come to school？

（指地铁图片提问）

Ss： We come to school by subway.

（2） T： Look at your books and listen to the reconder，

then read the next aloud.

（设计意图：出示交通工具图片，使学生面对直观交通图片进入到真实的语言情景之中，充分发挥学生对事物的观察力、想象力和语言表达能力，使师生在课堂上自由交流。）

4. Let's play.

T： Now let's play a game. OK？

Ss： OK！

T： Ask and answer the questions with your partners.

首先，同桌之间进行问题练习，接着按小组进行开火车比赛。

（设计意图：通过游戏让所有的同学都参与到语言活动中来，运用所学新知识进行交流，加深记忆，学以致用。）
