教学目标:

1.能听得懂、会说、会读单词letter, penfriend, writing paper, envelope, address, read, yesterday, both和句型

Can I have …? What for?. 2.能会读课文对话并能理解其主要内容。

3.能利用“思维导图”,练习复述课文。

4.对学生进行友谊方面的情感教育。

教学过程:

Step 1 Greetings Step 2 Presentation and practice 1. Today is the twenty second of May, which holiday is coming? (Children’s Day) What are you going to do on Children’s Day?

2. What am I going to do on Children’s Day, can you guess?

Look, what’s this? It’s a letter. (出示信件,板书letter)

Yesterday, I received a letter from my penfriend. I’m very busy these days, you know. I’ve no time to write back to him soon, so I’m going to write a letter to my penfriend on Children’s Day. OK. This class we’ll learn Unit 7 “A letter to a penfriend”. (板全课题)

3. Teach “penfriend”

(PPT). Look at this word. What does it mean? (释义) How do you know its meaning so quickly? There’re a lot of compound words in English. What else can you say?
