I. Warming-up

1. Ask and answer .

T:Good morning, boys and girls!

Ss: Good morning, teacher!

T:How are you ?

Ss: I’m fine ,thank you .

2.Play a game : Touch your nose / mouth ... .

3.Sing and do : walking ,walking ,walking ,hop ,hop ,hop ...

II. Presentation Part A:Let’s learn 1.Have the students look at the pictures and introduce the places . 2.T:Look,this is our school. Every day we come to school, but how do you come to school?

Do you come to school by plane/car/bike? I come to school on foot . 1)Teach the new word : school . Show the main sentences to the students : A: How do you come to school ? B: I come to school on foot . 2)

And then review the words and the phrases : by car ,by bike etc . 3)

T: After school we have to go home .How do you go home ? Teach the new words : home . Show the main sentences to the students and ask and answer : A: How do you go home ? B: I go home on foot . by bike by car 4)

But today I get up late .What should I do ? Yes, I can take a bus . Teach the new word : bus ,by bus . 5)

Use the same method to teach the other words : taxi ,by taxi 6)

And then let the students ask and answer . 7)

T: Tomorrow is Saturday . I am going to Beijing . How do I go to Beijing? And then teach the new words : train ,by train . 8) Use the same method to teach the new word and phrases : ship ,by ship . 3.Listen to the tape and repeat . III .Practice
