Many?

Teaching material It’s about school things. It close to students’ daily life. I think it can arose students’ interest. Teaching aims, key points and difficult points According to the new curriculum standard and the students’

situation. I will make the following aims: 1.

knowledge and ability objects The students should master the key words pen, pencil, pencil-box, ruler and crayon and use the key sentences How many...do you have ? I have ... correctly. 2.

Process and method objects Trough taking part in many activities, the students can feel and experience the happiness of learning English. And their four skills will be improved. 3.

Emotion attitude and value objects Encourage students to set up confidence and arose their learning interest. Besides their sence of cooperation and creative ability will be improved. According to teaching material and students, I think the key words and sentences are as followings:

Greeting and warming up

First greet to students and then let the studetns chant “one finger” with their bodies. The purpose is to attract their attention and make a relaxing atmosphere. Step2 lead in and presentation In this section I will use the material objects pictures and PPT to elicit the new words and sentences. Activity 1 I will show a magic bag to school and ask the students some questions.Eg. What’s in this bag? Do you know? I will show you. Take out one pen. It’s a pen. Let the students listen and follow me . Draw a pen on the blackboard and ask students to read this word in different ways.(read together or by groups) Through many ways of reading, make sure the student master the key words. Activity 2 I will invite one student to take out his school bag. And ask students what’s in his schoolbag？This question

catches the students attention and make them curious. Then the student and i will show books and pencils to the students for eliciting the key sentences: How many books? Let’s count . And do you have? I use the simple sentences to learn the difficult sentence How many books do you have. It is easy for student to learn the key sentences. Next show some pictures on PPT and teach How many pencils...do you have? And I have ... student read the key sentences together of by group. Through many ways of reading, make sure the student master the key words.

Step3 practice

First I will divide the students into many groups. Then do a survey. Each group has a reporter. The reporter ask his partner with the key sentences. After five minutes invite the students to show their role play. For the best group , I will praise them. For the not very good students, I will give them encouragement. This activity can he help student present themselves and experience the happiness of speak English. Next let the student listen to the tape and read this lesson. I will remind students to pay attention to his pronunciation and correct them. Step 4 summary

In this section, i will guide students to conclude the key knowledge by guessing game and having a match. Through it, students can learn the key contents better and review them again. Step 5 Homework Follow the tape and read the text 3 times Introduce the things in your school bag to your friends and parents. In the design of the homework, I will choose graded teaching pattern. Ask the students to choose one or two tasks to achieve.
