Analysis of Teaching Material:

本次教学内容是PEP小学英语五年级下册单词汇总部分,主要复习巩固本册书中所学单词和短语等。分为两课时,本节课教学内容为第一课时,即复习巩固第一到第三单元单词内容。本部分中,首先,以思维导图形式,复习巩固第二和第三单元的单词及句型,其次,又以“拯救马达加斯加小企鹅Private”为线索,通过引导学生完成四个不同的游戏任务,复习巩固整个三个单元的单词和句型。在本部分的学习中,重点是要通过听、说、读、写等活动使学生进一步发展综合语言运用能力,培养学生学以致用的能力。

Teaching aims:

1.能够正确地听、说、读、写1--3单元的黑体单词和短语,并能够灵活运用。

2.能够听、说、认读1--3单元的白体单词和短语。

3.能够掌握1--3单元出现的主要句型,并能在真实情境中恰当的使用,从而使学生形成良好的语言交际能力。

4. 在游戏中培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

Teaching importance & difficulty:

1.能够正确地听、说、读、写1--3单元的黑体单词和短语,并能够灵活运用。

2.能够掌握1--3单元出现的主要句型,并能在真实情境中恰当的使用,从而使学生形成良好的语言交际能力。

Teaching procedure:

Step 1. Warm-up

A guessing game.

Step 2. Presentation

1.Show some pictures of spring, and ask students to guess :What season is it?

2.Ask students some questions about spring, and write the words on the blackboard to draw a mind map about spring.

3.Lead students to review the words about “summer”“autumn”“winter”. And draw the mind map about “summer”“autumn”“winter” in the same way.

4.Ask students to say something about their favourite season.

5.Show a cartoon picture of Kowalski which is the character of film “The Penguins of Madagascar”.

6.Introduce Kowalski and his best friend “Private”.

7.Show a dialogue between Kowalski and Private.

Ask students some questions about this dialogue.

Step 3. Consolidation

1.Private is caught by an octopus,so we should finish the tasks to save him.

2.Lead students to finish all the tasks to review the words from unit 1 to unit3 :(1)Task 1:look and say.(2)Task 2:Read quickly.(3)Task 3:Ask the questions.(4)Task 4: Fill in the blanks.

Step 4. Summary

Conclude the content of this period.

Step 5. Homework

1.Copy the words from Unit 1-Unit3 for once.

2.Read the words after the tape for once.
