五、教学过程：

Step1 Warm-up 1.

Say a chant T: So what are they doing in the chant? 2.

Know about me

T: I like reading,too. And I like running. Do you like running?

But I like cleaning best. I like helping my parents at home. And you? 3.

Play a game

Rules: You can see some pictures about housework. If you can do it, stand up and say it loudly.

Sweep the floor/clean the table/cook/wash clothes/the dishes/clean the car

Step2 Presentation 1.

Our old Friend T: Mike is our old friend. What do you know about him? 2.

Watch and choose T: What is Mike going to tell us? Is he going to tell us their hobbies, family life?

Let’s watch. 教授单词：parent 揭题：Today our topic is helping our parents 3.

Read and match T: What are Mike’s family doing in the morning? Open your books and turn to page48. Read Part One and match. Learning tips: If you don’t know the meaning of new words, you can guess according to the pictures. T: Is Tim helping his parents in the morning? 4.

Look and choose T: What happened in the afternoon? Look at the pictures and choose the right phrase. T: Read page49 with your deskmate, discuss and check your answer. Wash the dishes(fish-dish-dishes) Clean the table/cook dinner/eat fruit/watch TV 5.
