一、教学目标:

Students are able to read the dialogue with the right pronunciation and intonation. 【学习能力目标】

Distinguish the usage of “these”

and “those”. Can use the sentence patterns to describe the animals in the farm, and communicate with others freely in real situation. What are these/those? They are…

二、教学重难点:

1. How to make students distinguish the usage of “these”

and “those”.

2. How to make students use the sentence patterns to communicate with others in real situation.

三、教学过程设计:

Ⅰ. Warming up 内容:1. Free talk about the animals

2. Sing a song(Old MacDonald had a farm)

3.引出本节课主题farm

【设计意图】:复习动物的单词,引出本节主题,为完成后续的学习任务做好铺垫。

Ⅱ. Presentation Activity1:

Guessing game:学生通过听动物声音猜出Mr. MacDonald的农场有哪些动物

【设计意图】:通过师生问答、生生问答的形式复习学过的句型What are these? They are...,为新句型What are those? They are... 对比教学做好铺垫。

Activity2:

What are those? They are...话轮的呈现与操练

1)What are these? They are...师生问答、生生问答

2)What are those? They are...设疑提问、小组活动

【设计意图】:通过创设不同情景,找出those和these的区别,帮助学生理解其异同。通过小组活动掌握新句型的使用。

Activity3: Are they...? Yes, they are./No, they aren’t.话轮的呈现与操练

1)呈现远处模糊不清的动物hens/horses导入Are they...? 2)师生一起进行Let's play板块的游戏

3)Chant 【设计意图】:通过游戏、chant帮助学生掌握新句型Are they...?并学会做肯定和否定回答

Activity4: 呈现完整对话

1)Guessing:分别呈现对话中的第一、第二幅图,学生根据答语猜出问题

2)Listening time: Answer the questions:1. What does Mike see?2. How many horses?3. Are they hens? 3) Repeating time:

4) Fill in the blank 【设计意图】:通过听读、演一演的活动,帮助学生理解篇章大意,学会问答物品名称和确认是否为某种物品。

Activity1:Group work:1) 朗读、表演课本对话。2)学生根据提示创编新对话。
