教学目标:
(1)
能听、说、认读单词与词组tomato, potato, carrot, green bean及其复数形式。
(2)
能够熟练运用上述单词与词组并运用句型They’re…描述蔬菜特征。
(3)
能够理解、跟读歌谣,并能够创编新的歌谣来描述自己喜爱的水果或蔬菜。
教学重点:能够熟练运用蔬菜单词及已学的形容词描述蔬菜特征。
教学难点:掌握tomato和potato的复数形式变化。
课前准备:1.本课教学相关单词卡片。
2.多媒体课件。
3.教师教学用书光盘。
教学过程:
Step 1
Warm-up and Revision 1)
Greeting: T: Class begins. Good morning! Boys and girls!
Ss: Good morning, Mrs. Liao! T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine. How about you? T: I’m very happy to have an English class for you!
2)
Vegetable song
T: First, Mrs Liao brings a very happy song for you. Let’s sing together.
Step 2
Presentation and Practice T: What a lovely song. Do you like it? Yes, I like it too. Today we’ll talk about vegetables. Look ,this is a farm. And this is Mr MacDonald’s farm. Sarah, John and Mike are going to Mr MacDonald’s farm. Do you want to go together? Ss: Yes. (1)教学carrots及其单数形式。
T: What are they talking about?Listen. Sarah: What are these?
Mr: They are carrots. T:
Listen, carrots.(升降调) Read after me, carrots. 词卡教carrot. (音标带读);spell carrot. Write carrot. TS: They’re carrots, and this is a carrot. T: Look at the carrots, they are _______.
Ss: big/small/cute... (学生边说老师边Bb形容词) T: Do you like carrots? S1: No, I don’t. T: But carrots are good. Sarah says: try some carrots, they’re healthy.
2)借助情境教学potato及其单数形式。
Mike: Are these carrots?
Ss: No, they aren’t.
T: They are potatoes. (教学potato) TS: They’re potatoes, and this is a potato. T: Look at the potatoes, they’re _____. T: Mrs Liao will show you some potato food. I like potatoes very much. How about you? (笑脸和哭脸) Ss: I like potatoes./ I don’t like potatoes. T: Also we must like this! Potato chips and tomato sauce. Put up your hands if you like. 3)教学tomatoes及其单数形式
T:Now, let’s make a magic. Look at potato, then we change t to m, next, change p to t. It becomes to tomatoes.(教学tomatoes)
将potato按音节划分,并提醒学生单词以元音字母o结尾时,复数形式需加es。

5)教学green beans T: What colour are the vegetables? Ss: The ... is .... T: What color of these? S1: They are green.
T: So they are green beans. We have learned “teacher”.
Sarah: Look at the green beans. They are so long.
T: They are ______. Ss: They are _______. 总结黑板上的句型和图片,T:Look at the _____. They are ___.

T: Does John like this vegetables?
