Teaching procedures Step 1 Warm up

1. Greetings

2. Play the video of < Tinkle Belle>. Teacher: it’s so beautiful. Do you love this cartoon, children? Now please tell me how many seasons there are in a year? (Pictures of the 4 seasons on the screen）

Teacher: Which season do you like best? Why?（ask 4-5 students)

活动设计意图：通过卡通视频复习上单元的重点词汇和句型，不仅起到了温故知新的作用，还唤醒了学生孩童时代的美好记忆，为本课的学习营造了温馨、愉悦的氛围。

Step 2 Presentation (1)

听let’s try部分的录音，完成探究学习第一题。

教师指导学生观察let’s talk 部分的教学挂图，提问: “Who are they? What are they talking about ?”

听录音，完成探究练习第二题。

学生听录音跟读课文，理解意思，并进行表演性朗读。

小组内分角色进行表演操练、学生自愿上台表演，师生共评。

活动设计意图：阅读前，通过创设情景突破课文中的重点句型“when is the trip this year？It’s in October. We will go to the great wall.”

为课文的引出扫清语言障碍。

Step 3 consolidation Make a dialogue(庆祝母亲节）

Situation: mother’s day is coming. You want to celebrate it and do some wonderful things.( 母亲节就要到了，你想要帮妈妈庆祝并做学有意义的事情）

学生根据情景以pair work 的形式，两人一组创编对话。学生自愿上台表演。

S1: What will you do for your mom on Mother’s day?

S2:I’ll cook for my mother.

S1: Will you sing songs?

S2: Yes, I will.

S1: Cool! Can you make a card?

S2: No, I can’t.

S3: No problem. I will help you.

S2: What about you and your partner?

S3:I will write a letter, tell a story and play the pipa.

S2: So cool! (2)

师生共同评价，找出表演者的优点和缺点。

活动设计意图：创编对话能够培养学生的创新精神和运用语言进行简单交流的能力。
