（2）能运用本单元所学的词汇和句型谈论周末活动，并能自己尝试用第三者角度描述他人周末活动。

教学过程：

Step1. Greetings

T: Good morning, class. Nice to meet you.

Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

Step2. Lead-in

T:Yesterday I have got some interesting pictures about weekdays.(PPT展示图片，教者跟着表演图片上的表情).

T: What day is it today?

Ss: Thursday.

T: Yes, it’s Thursday. Miss Liu is happy. The weekends are coming.

T: Saturday and Sunday are the end of the week. We call them weekends. (PPT展示表示周末的日子，出示weekends,并板书教授此单词)

T: I like weekends. I always have wonderful weekends. (PPT 展示周末活动的图片) （设计意图：利用表情导入周末即将来临，由兴奋的心情引出周末的活动）

Step3. Presentation and practice

T: At weekends(边说边板书), I always play with my daughter. I usually chat with Rose on the Internet. She’s Rose. (PPT 出示图片与句子) She’s my English friend. She has a daughter. She likes music. She always sings. Rose, has, music, and always,

they all have letter “s”, read them and find the pronunciation. How many stars can you get? T: I often go to the park and have a picnic there. I sometimes fly a kite with my family. And sometimes with my friends.

（设计意图：在教授频率副词的时候也初步了解字母s 在单词中的发音。）

T: Look, my friends are coming. (PPT 展示俩人图片) Who are they?

Ss: Su Hai and Mike.

T: Yes, and they are talking .what are they talking about? Let’s listen choose. （设计意图：初步感知整篇课文。）

T&Ss: They are talking about their weekends and their friends’ weekends. Choose C.

It is Friday. The weekends are coming. Su Hai and Mike are talking about the weekends. What do they do at weekends? Let’s watch the flash and tick what they do. (出示表格，观看课文动画两遍，勾出活动内容) T: Let’s cheak.

T: They have a picnic, visit grandparents. (整体认读单词visit, grandparents means grandma and grandpa). They … and chat with … (教授单词chat: chair at ), go to the cinema (出示电影院的图片we watch films there) （设计意图：在初步了解课文内容的过程中多种方式教授新单词，为接下来的自己读课文铺垫。）

T: So many interesting things. What do SH and SY do at weekends? What does Helen do? What about Mike? Read the text by yourselves and fill in the form.
