Unit 8 Weekend Fun

一、单元知识简介

本单元主要学习有关别人想做的事情的词组展开对话,懂得询问别人的意愿,并在别人询问自己时作出回答。

二、学情分析

学生在四年级上册已经学习What do they want?这课时已经初步掌握了询问别人想要什么和回答的句型。

三、教学目标

1.语言知识目标

学习四会词组go to the park 、 see a movie 、 play outside、read a story、make a snowman 、surf the Internet 。和四会句子What do you(they) want to do? I(They) want to …

2.语言技能目标

通过说唱歌谣,做游戏,做调查报告,表演,比赛等多个环节,使学生在观察、判断、合作、自学、表演、竞争、创造、评价等多方面的能力得到发展和提高。

3.情感态度目标

培养学生浓厚的英语学习兴趣,挖掘学生的表演才能和实际应用语言的能力,给学生一个自我展示的舞台。

4.文化意识目标

通过本课学习,让学生懂得询问他人的意愿,并学会尊重他人的选择,培养学生劳逸结合的生活态度,教育学生要注意分配好学习和

玩的时间;

四、教学重点与难点

1.教学重点

本节课重点学习四会单词、两组句型和对话,由于《开心学英语》的每一个对话都是一个小故事,所以通过对句型的学习,理解对话的意义,并能表演出来是本课的重点。

2.教学难点

通过对话的学习,能让学生学会灵活运用新知识,自己创设新的情景对话,又是本课的难点。

五、教法学法

根据本单元的教学内容,可采用活动教学法、情景教学法组织教学活动。充分利用身边易找、易做之物,如单词卡,头饰,图片等,最大限度的调动学生学习的积极性。复习、引入、新授、扩展,层层递进,尽可能创造相宜的语言情境,鼓励学生的大胆创新,加强合作学习、合作表演,使学生在轻松愉悦的环境中学习、思维、应用。六、课前准备

金太阳课件、图片、头饰、实物等。

七、课时划分

第一课时: Vocabulary, target and chant activities.

第二课时: Story, practice 1 and practice 2.

第三课时: activity and sounds and words.

第一课时

一、课时目标

通过学习,让学生熟练掌握6个单词并能用它们替换1组句型。

二、课时重点和难点

本节课重点学习6个四会单词和1组句型;难点是用所学单词替换句型中的单词。

三、课前准备

金太阳课件、图片、实物等。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up and getting ready

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Miss

T: How are you today?

Ss: Fine, thanks. And you?

T: I’m fine, too. Thanks. I have some toys here. (S1’s name), what do you want?

S1: I want a book.

T: Here you are. You have a book ,What do you want to do? I want to read a story .

T: Today, we will learn the new lesson, what do you want to do?(学生齐读,教师板书)

Step 2 Presentation

1. Teach the new words.

T: Class,I want to read a story . Do you read a story? Ss: Yes.

T: Great, I want to read a story, too. Let’s read a story. What do they want to do?(打开多媒体图片)

S3: They want to go to the park .

T: You are clever. Class, read after me. Go to the park . (教读并板书)

Ss:Go to the park.

T: (S4’s name), What does he want to do ?(教读并板书句型) S4: See a movie .

T: (Point to S3) What do they want to do?

Ss: They want to make a snowman. (教读并板书词组)

T: Do they want to make a snowman ?

Ss: No, they don’t . They want to play outside .

T: (Point to S4) What does she want to do ?

Ss: She wants to surf the Internet. (教师板书词组)

T: (教师领读) Surf the Internet.

2.The whole class read the phrases.

3.The teacher write the sentences on the blackboard .(教师教读并板书句型)

T: Look at the boy and the girl in the picture. What do they want to do ?

S5:They want to …(教读并板书)

T: You are right. (教师教读并板书句型)

4.Read the phrases in the group.

5. Listen and repeat.(播放录音,让学生跟读单词和句子)

6. Play a game (guessing games)

T: One does the action , other one guess what he is doing ? S(全):What does he / she want to do ?

S1: He/She wants to …

Step 3 Drill and practice

1. Group work

T: This time let’s practice in groups of four. Look at the pictures on your books or using your objects to talk about them like target. (4人小组活动) Then I’ll choose some groups to act out your dialogues.

2. Song activity

T: You all did a good job. Do you want to sing a song now? Ss: Sure.

T: OK. Let’s watch and listen, then sing together.(播放金太阳课件)
