教学目标
教学目标: 1)能使学生听、说、读、写下列单词: holiday,bring ,song,give 认读Western,special,Santa… 和日常用语:Merry Christmas! Have fun together! (2)能使学生通过小组合作和互相交流来完成教学任务, (3)能使学生了解中西文化差异,有礼貌的得体的和他人进行交流。
学情分析
六年级学生已经学了三年多的英语,大部分学生能用简单的英语谈论一些话题。本课内容和学生的日常生活有一定的联系,在四年级的时候他们已经接触了一些节日,如:New Year’Day,Children’s Day,Teachers’
Day……而且他们在日常生活中对西方节日有一定的了解。学生一定会充满好奇有兴趣的进行本课的学习的。
重点难点
教学重点:四会单词和日常用语
教学难点:理解本课课文内容
教学过程
导入Step One:
Pre-reading
1.Greeting and play a guessing game:”what holidays is it?”
T : Are you ready for English class? How are you? How’s the weather today?
2.Then talk about the Spring Festival. T: Boys and girls, guess what is my favourite festival? What do we do in the Spring Festival? 新授
Step Two:While-reading:
T: In the western country,(解释western 这一词) there is
also a very big, important holiday, like the Spring Festival. What is it?
Look!(幻灯片呈现圣诞节的图片). What can you see from the pictures? What holiday is it? What do you want
to know about Christmas? The first reading: Read the text quickly and then answer the questions: 1.When is Christmas? On a holiday, do people go to work? Do children go to
school? The second reading: Read the text carefully again and answer the questions: What is the Christmas? What do we have at Christmas? T: 呈现幻灯片。Boys and girls, look, what’s this?
