Next teacher will show some pictures about street maket, supermarket. Then teacher will introduce a new way of shop, and students will guess online shopping. Then it will lead in the topic --- You can buy everything on the Internet. ⅡPre - reading Teacher will ask three questions from the title You can buy everything on the Internet. 1.What can you buy ? 2.How do you pay for it ? 3.Is it good or bad ? For the last question, some students will say it’s good, some students will say it’s bad. Teacher will ask a question. T: How does our writer think of it? Let’s come to the passage --- online shopping. Ⅲ While- reading

1. Students will read the passage quickly and answer the question:

What does the passage mainly tell us ? Students might answer in some points, then teacher will summarize the answer. T: We can say the passage maily tells us from four points: It’s easy to shop online. Advantages. Disadvantages. Changing way of life.

So first the writer tells us it’s easy to shop online. How to shop on the Internet? Let’s read paragraph 1 and find the answer. 2. The question is easy, students read paragraph 1 and might find the answer quickly. First students will share their answers in group, and then share in class. T: Now so many people like online shopping, why? Let’s find advantages of online shopping. 3.Students will read paragraph 2 and find answer, then share in group and class. The answer is easy to find. S: shop at any time. save time. compare - save money T: Now think about what other advantages of online shopping? Students will talk about their own idea. This can open students’

mind and make a common about things. After sharing, students will share in class. T: Although online shopping has so many advantages, some people don’t like online shopping. What disadvantages of online shopping?

4.Students will read paragraph 3 and find answer. And then students will think about other disadvantages of onlin shopping. 5.After reading the three paragraphs, teacher will lead students to think that Every thing has two sides --- advantage and disadvantage. So before buying things or

Ⅳ Post-reading 1. After learning the passage, teacher will help students remember the passage again, which is the structure of the passage.

2. Students will know about the order of writing and understand the passage better. Then students will make a new title imagining they were the writer. This can help students think from different sides and learn to summarize the passage. Then students will share their own title in goup and choose the best one to show in class.

4. After the title, there are two questions to discuss: Q1: In the future, will people not go to shop any more? Why? Students might answer the question from the passage. At last, teacher can help students to think from two sides:

T: We can talk about from two sides: For some people, they won’t go to the shop any more. Because ... For other people, they will still go the shop. Because ... Q2: How will you shop ? The question is to make students talk about their own idea after learning the passage. Maybe some students still use views from our writer. So the teacher can lead them to think from their daily life. And then students can learn abou that the traditional shopping will still exist in the future because peple need to communicate each other, not only to the machine or computers. ⅤSummary After all the activities, students will think one quesiton: What did you learn? Students can say anything about this class. This can help students to think over some information about online shopping again and also they can remember some values about how to view one thing and how to choose among different way of shopping. Make a shopping list for a school picnic.

How will you buy the things? Why? Write a passage with a title. This is a group work and students have to finish it in their group. Different students can do different things in group. For example, first they have to make the list together. Then student A and B can compare prices of the same products and decide how to buy. Student C can collect the shopping report. Student D can write the passage according to the report at last. That can make students learn to work together and solve problems in a group. Also they can learn from each other.
