二、Skills objectives:

1. Students will be able to understand the main idea of the listening material in the textbook. 2. Students will be able to master the conversation of asking and giving directions and thus, apply it to practice in their daily life.

三、Emotional objectives:

Students’ awareness of helping people will be further enhanced after the lesson.

1学情分析

本课授课对象是七年级下学期的学生,他们活泼好动,乐于表现, 喜欢直观的事物但关注力不够持久,因此在设计课的时候,我根据他们的年龄层次、心理特征和认知发展水平,设计了多种有趣的活动如“猜谁不见了”游戏,“角色扮演”以及“小组对抗赛”等,激发学生的学习兴趣和提高学生的课堂参与度。“问路与指路”这个话题,贴近学生的生活,实用性很强,但我校的学生基础薄弱,对本课核心词汇和句式的理解有一定的困难。所以扫除词汇和句式的障碍是我在教学设计时要考虑的首要任务。

Teaching process 1. Teaching and learning objectives: Show the teaching and learning objectives to have the students informed of what they will learn in the class and what they are expected to master after the lesson. 2. Warming up and Leading in: 1) Ask students to brainstorm a few famous places in Beijing to warm up. Then show the pictures of some places (the words they need to master in this class) and ask students to say out places immediately after they see the pictures. 2) Ask students to read all the names of the places together to further memorize these words. 3) Test students’ memory of the words by playing a guessing game to check how well they learn the new words. 3.Presentation

1) Match the words with the pictures to complete activity 1 in the textbook to check students’ mastery of the words once again.

2) Listening activity

First, ask students to listen and number the order.

Second, to make good use of the listening material as the language input, ask students to listen again and answer some questions in the slide. Then summarize the sentence patterns of asking ways and giving directions in the listening material. Practice
