北师大版/高二Module 5 Unit 14 Lesson 4 Job Trends 1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明

本节课以文本阅读为出发点(已默认该文本为一篇完整的文章)，在阅读之后，1）教师引导学生总结出文章的脉络，理清文章的组织结构，即：了解阿尔文●托夫勒对未来变化的预测；认识到近年来，职场工作发生的变化(包括职场领域、工作观念和公司类型的变化。);懂得了为适应工作变化所应具备的技能；理解这种变化所带来的影响。2）学生通过阅读、总结、归纳，认识到未来工作趋势的变化以及求职者为适应工作变化所必备的技能和品质，从而激发学生对未来工作的畅想和规划。

2.教学背景分析

教学内容分析：

本篇课文出自《英语（Senior High English）》，北京师范大学出版社，高二必修模块5，第十四单元Career．本板块主要围绕

“职业”话题展开。Job Trends是第十四单元第四课，是以阅读策略训练为重点的阅读课，内容主要涉及到未来工作趋势的变化(包括职场领域、工作观念和公司类型的变化）以及求职者为适应工作变化所必备的技能和品质。

学生情况分析：

本课授课对象为理科实验班学生，但整个班级学生的英语水平不高。大部分学生虽然有一定的英语基础，也有学习的目标性和主动性，能配合教师的教学，但基础不扎实，对很多较难的单词和语法掌握不到位，因此在学习理解本文章会有一定的难度。

3.教学目标分析

通过本节课的学习，学生能够：

1.掌握知识目标：根据语境整体理解全文大意，学习与工作有关的词汇如：flexible, understanding,confident,imaginative,computer skills,language skills,communication skills 等词语或词组。

2. 形成知识技能：学生通过略读，根据所给的主题句对文章进行分段，理清文章的脉络。采用寻读，提取和概括课文的表层信息，并根据表层信息就深层次的工作趋势变化进行总结、归纳，以讨论的形式，结合所设问题和已学文本，通过小组活动呈现自己对未来工作的畅想和规划。

3.确立情感态度：通过对未来工作趋势的了解，增强学生的学习动力，促使学生学习必要的就业技能和品质，培养学生的跨文化交际意识和合作意识。

4.教学重点、难点分析

教学重点：

2. 阅读课文并能通过寻读理解课文大意；

3. 通过分析，总结、归纳未来工作趋势的变化以及求职者为适应工作变化所必备的技能。

步骤1：Step 1 LEAD-IN

Analyze the title of “Survival of the Fittest”and lead students to review the words about qualities. Answer the questions. (1)

What is the meaning of “Survival of the Fittest”? (It means “because the job trends are changing constantly, you have to keep learning new things and developing new skills so that you can survive.”) (2)

Besides learning new things and skills, what qualities should we need to survive in the job market ? teamwork

设计意图：通过视频，导入课题，吸引学生的注意力，使学生快速进入学习状态,并对本课学习内容有了初步的认识。复习有关品质的单词，为接下来的阅读和课后写作输入关于就业品质的单词。

步骤2：Step 2 READING

Fast-reading Read the text and divide the text into four parts according to the topics. 设计意图：让学生对本课文的总体框架有一个比较清晰的认识，并为接下来按各部分阅读，完成阅读任务做好准备。

设计意图：通过细读活动，进一步提高学生对语篇的理解分析能力，提升学生查找信息、快速获取信息的能力。本环节根据文本各部分设置不同层次的阅读任务如下：第一步，让学生带着问题阅读思考。第二步，学生阅读文本，画出本文关键词语，总结、归纳并提取相关信息，完成文本相关表格。第三步，学生带着问题，再次阅读第三部分回答相应问题。最后一步，学生细读文本，获取相关信息。

步骤4： Step 4 DISCUSSION——My Future Job

1.Introduce some new jobs in the new era,such as the hotel test sleeper,professional dog walkers, food blogger, watching paint to be dried, musicians on call, the candy tester and so on. 2. Students focus the following questions and discuss their future jobs. Q1: What is your future job? Q2: What skills and qualities do you need for the job? Q3: Predict the trend of the job you choose. 3.

Show students the example and useful expressions. Example: My Future Job Skills: professional medical knowledge,computer skills, communication skills... First of all, mastering professional medical knowledge, computer skills and communication skills is extremely important.

Qualities: patient, hard-working, cooperative... To qualify the job, it is necessary for us to be patient, hard-working and cooperative.

Trend: in much greater demand Because of this,doctor will be in much greater demand.

设计意图:重复文本的结构，根据所学的关键词汇，列出模版，供学生接下来画思维导图提供线索。

步骤5：Group work：Mindmapping

Each group chooses one of the future jobs which can be traditional jobs or new jobs, then uses the mindmapping to help work out an outline for presentation and composition. 2.

SHOW TIME 设计意图：每组学生根据各自选定的话题，画出思维导图，即为展示做准备，又为课后仿写做准备。

步骤6：CONCLUSION: The teacher and students make the conclusion. No matter what you do, please remember: Every profession produces its own leading authority. 行行出状元。

设计意图：老师和学生一起进行总结，进一步升华主题，帮助学生树立自信心，认识到“天生我材必有用”。

Trend. 设计意图：以仿写的方式，考察学生对文本架构和相关短语、句子的掌握情况。

6.教学评价设计

评价内容：

一、学生以小组活动形式，讨论并画出思维导图，并派出代表简要介绍导图内容；

二、以家庭作业的形式，检测学生的文本掌握情况。
