一、教学内容及学情分析

本节课的学习内容为学习秋冬这两个季节及人物活动的短语和句型，能够用所学句型对四个季节的活动进行描述。六年级的学生在本册书的第三单元简单了解了序数词，在第四单元又系统地学习了序数词的表达方法，基于此大部分学生在学习重点句型“Autumn is the third season. Winter is the fourth season”不存在困难，本节课的重难点放在活动短语的学习和拓展以及用所学句型对四个季节的活动进行描述和讨论上。

二、教学目标

（一）知识目标：

1.能够正确地听懂、说出、认读下列单词、短语和句子：autumn, yellow, brown, white, winter, snowman;pick apples, cut rice, make a snowman, sweep the snow；Autumn is the third season.Winter is the fourth season. 2.能够运用下列语句进行季节活动话题的描述：What do people do in autumn and winter? They pick apples/cut rice/ male a snowman/ sweep the snow... 3.掌握字母组合“pl”的发音规律。

（二）能力目标：能够借助图片和所学单词及句型，在适当的情境中

基本熟练地用英语对四个季节的活动进行描述。

（三）情感目标：在学习中培养学生的合作意识；引导学生发现不同季节的美，培养学生对一年四季的喜爱之情。

三、教学重点

教学重点为能够借助图片和所学单词及句型，在适当的情境中基本熟练地用英语进行对四季活动话题的描述。

四、教学难点

教学难点为运用所学句型对不同季节的活动进行描述:What do people in spring/summer/autumn/winter? They go on spring outings/have summer holidays/pick apples/ make a snowman... 五、教学准备

六、教学过程

（一）Warm-up 1.Greeting 2.Guess a riddle T:I have a riddle for you:I have four friends.NO.1 is green.She can make you warm. NO.2 is bright.He can make you hot.NO.3 is golden,she can make you cool.NO.4 is white, he can make you cold. Who are they? 【设计意图：通过猜谜导入本节课的“seasons”话题】

（二）Presentation

1.Let’s watch a video about four seasons. 【设计意图：通过观看此片来复习四个季节的景色及人物活动，为接下来的话题讨论做铺垫。】

2.Let’s talk about the four seasons. （1）What do people do in spring/summer? 【设计意图：通过讨论春夏的人物活动，复习拓展相关的活动短语，调动学生的知识储备，为本节课的活动讨论热身。】

（2）Look at the picture. Which season is it?It’s autumn. Let’s talk about autumn.Answer the questions. a.When does autumn begin? b.What colour is autumn? c.How’s the weather in autumn? d.What do people do in autumn? （4）Learn the chant. 唱歌谣，感知字母组合pl的发音。

（三）Practice 1.Talk about your favourite season in groups. Which season do ou like?Why? 【设计意图：通过小组对季节的讨论将所学的语言知识运用到相应的情境中去，检验学生对所学活动短语及句型的掌握，发展学生的语言运用能力。】

2.Use the pictures you get and write a short passage about your favourite season.（以小组为单位，用课上奖励得到的季节图片写一篇小文章）

季节的对比，培养学生跨文化交际意识，发散学生思维。】

（五）Homework. 1.Must to do:let’s do a survey about the season in Thailand. 2.Choose to do:Make a poster about the season in Thailand. 【设计意图：通过课下调查泰国现在的季节及相关的人物活动来促进学生自主学习能力；通过手抄报作业的制作，让学生把课堂上学的知识内化并以图文结合的形式输出，达到学以致用的目的。】
