课时：Period 1 Story time 教学目标：

（一）知识目标：

1、在整体理解的基础上听懂，会说，会读故事中的词汇：check, dentist, anything, bedtime, brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take medicine, fever, headache, toothache.

2、基于故事听懂、会说、会读句型：What’s wrong with…？… have/ has a … What should …do？You/ he/ she should…

（二）能力目标：

1、能阅读并理解故事。

2、能在理解的基础上流利地朗读故事

3、能初步理解如何询问病情，如何给不同的病症不同的建议。

（三）情感目标：

1、让学生体会到阅读的乐趣，培养学生阅读的兴趣。

2、让学生通过学习了解如何能保持他们身体健康。

教学重难点：

1、在整体理解的基础上听懂，会说，会读故事中的词汇：check, dentist, anything, bedtime, brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take medicine, fever, headache, toothache.

2、能运用句型：What’s wrong with…？…

have/ has a …

What should …do？You/ he/ she should…进行初步的交流。

教学准备：

1、教师准备：光盘、PPT、板书

2、学生准备：自读故事，初步了解故事内容。

教学步骤：

Step 1 Warm up 1. Sing a song < Body song> T: Boys and girls. Before we begin our class. Let’s sing a song. 【通过歌曲活跃气氛，并复习之前学过的和身体部位相关的单词。】

Brain storming T: The song is about the parts of our body. Do you still remember them? Look at the picture and review the parts of our body. (head, ear, hand, foot…)

3. Teach: headache, toothache... T: If one part of our body feels hurt, we can say ...ache Look! Su Hai has a headache. Mike has a toothache. They have to see the doctor. Today we’re going to learn Unit 4 Seeing the doctor. 【学习部位疼痛的表达方式。并通过苏海和麦克头疼牙疼需要看医生，引出本单元话题

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Watch and answer T: Show two pictures of Su Hai and Mike. They both feel not good, so they are seeing the doctor.

Watch the cartoon and answer “ What’s wrong with Su Hai and Mike?”

Read Part 1 and find. T: Read Part 1 by yourselves and find out “How does Su Hai feel? What’s wrong with her? What should she do?”
