常规预习：

⑴听磁带15分钟，大声朗读第三单元Story time，划出文中不理解的内容。

⑵尝试用英语字典查查生词。

①How do we/I get to …?是问路的常用句型，意思是“我们/我怎么去/到达……?”如：

How do I get to City Cinema? 我怎么去城市电影院？

向别人问路时，还可以用下列句子：

Where’s City Cinema? Can you tell me the way to City Cinema? ②next to 是“紧靠”、“在……旁边”的意思。如：

The dining room is next to the kitchen.餐厅就在厨房旁边。

beside和next to的区别：

问路方式：How do I get to…? Where’s ...?

beside表示“在……旁边”的意思时，其用法与next to差不多。如：

There is a chair next to/beside the desk.有一把椅子在桌子旁边。

beside还有“在……附近”的意思，而next to 则没有。如：

There are many birds beside the river.有许多鸟在河边。

ask sb. for help的意思为“请求某人给予帮助”。如：

Can I ask you for help?我能请你帮个忙吗？

sorry和excuse me 的区别：

sorry主要因做错事或说错话而表示歉意，也可以表示委婉的拒绝。如：

Sorry, I’m late.

excuse me主要因打扰别人而表示歉意。如：

Excuse me, can you tell me the time? 打扰一下，请问几点钟了？

⑤

along在这里是介词，意思是“沿着”，常与street, road, river等名词连用。如：

Go along this street. 沿着这条街走。

⑥词组归纳：

get to your home到达你家 take the metro 乘地铁 get off the bus 上公交车 walk to Moon Street朝月亮街走去

next to it 在它隔壁 come out from从...出来

on the street 在街上 ask... for help 向...寻求帮助 Excuse me. 打扰一下 Turn right at the traffic lights.在交通灯处右转
