My teaching content today is lesson 3 of Unit 6 of PEP Primary English, Book

There is

a short passage about birthday invitation ,ss are required to fill in the blanks according to it.

And, in section b ,ss are required to make their own

cards and write it with the help of the key structures.

years, they have some basic English background knowledge,

they have known some simple

English words Such as: mouths(January , February …).And sentences structures, such as: My birthday is on…. We can….and

They can talk about this topic in an easy way with the key words and structures. They are able to write some easy words

as well. But it’s quite necessary to promote their reading comprehension. So this class , I’ll provide

them the chances of using language.

And after oral practice , It is not difficult for them to

write

their own invitation with proper words. 2.

教学目标 (Teaching aims) So, I set the following aims. 1.The first one is language knowledge. students will know the form of the birthday invitation.

2. They learn the new phrases : eat delicious food and at my house.

教学过程(teaching procedures) Now this is my teaching procedures.

Step 1.

Greeting and Warming-up At

the beginning

of this class, in order to help ss review the words and sentence, we’ll say the chant. The chant is a bout : mouth.

After that we will have a free talk. When is your birthday ? It’s in.. or it’s on..

Step 2. Presentation

1.

This part I want to make preparation for the

invitation. So I set a situation .With the help of the PPT ,I receive an invitation from Yaoyao.

2.Here I’ll show the invitation, After reading the invitation, ss can get some

general

information about the birthday party . In order to promote their reading comprehension Here I will ask them some questions, when is Yaoyao’s

birthday ? Where do we have a party? And what do we do ?

then we will

fill in the blanks by the part of information. Ss can use the control to choose the right answer. I

use

the same way to reduce the scope and help them to fill in the blanks step by step. My purpose is to help ss get the key words . And help them understand how to write their invitations in

daily life. With the help of

the control ,I know If the ss have known the basic knowledge or not. 3.This time we’ll listen and repeat . It is to help Ss to correct their pronunciation and they will be familiar with the invitation . Step3. Practice In order to sum up the short passage and review some phrases for the next step, I set a situation, Yaoyao’s birthday is coming. We’ll have a party. We eat delicious food ,

play in the snow , make a snowman and eat birthday cake. We sing a song , play a game and

dance together.

After that we will do the group works . They will

use the sentences to make a dialogue :When is your birthday? And what to do? My birthday is on.. I can…

They will ues about their birthday party. In this way ,ss have mastered the key words and key structures .I’ll ask some group to show their conversation. The purpose of this

,First It is

to provide the chances to using the language. Secondly it will lay the foundation for writing.

Step 4. Development In order to use the language in their daily life, we will make a card together. firstly

I will give them a piece of paper to make a card, then

I do demonstration of writing. After

mastering the basic sentences,

ss choose the words to write their invitation. Then I will encourage ss to

show what they have written by the projection machine. Ss cannot only write

birthday invitation ,but also

write others invitation in other festival. Festivals are happy .we should share our happiness others.

Draw and write about

their pet s on p42.
