Unit 3 Are you happy?第一课时

教学目标:

1.学习表示感觉的单词thirsty, happy, sad, tired. 2.学习句型:I’m happy. Are you happy? Yes I am. /No I am not.使学生能表达自己的感觉,能询问并转述别人的感觉,能对别人的感觉作出适当的回应。

3.结合句型I’m …. Are you …? Yes I am. /No I am not.表达感受,为询问别人的感觉打下基础。

教学重点

词汇:happy, sad, tired ,thirsty. 教学难点

句型:I’m …. Are you …? Yes I am. / No I am not.教具准备

:电脑课件、单词卡片(带图片)、奖励用的小笑脸图片

教学过程:

一、Warming up: T:Today I’m very happy to come here. Are you happy? OK, first, Let’s sing a song 《If you are happy.》OK? S: OK. 二、New lesson:

1、T:OK,today I will tell you a story. The name of the story is A thirsty bird. (Teach the word: thirsty. And make sentences: I am…. Are you…? Yes, I am. /No, I’m not.) OK, Do you want to know: What happened? S: Yes. T: OK, let’s start. 2、One day, It’s hot. A bird fly in the sky. He is very thirsty and tired. (Teach the word: tired. And make sentences: I am…. Are you…? Yes, I am. /No, I’m not.) 3、The bird has a rest in the tree. The bird wants some water. He can see a bottle over there. He flys to the bottle. But the bottle is tall and thin. The bird cannot

drink the water. He is sad. (Teach the word: sad. And make sentences: I am…. Are you…? Yes, I am. /No, I’m not.) 4、What should he do? The bird can see some little stones. He thinks a moment. Than he says :“I have a good idea!”He puts the stones into the bottle. Look! The bird can drink the water now. He is so happy. (Teach the word: happy. And make sentences: I am…. Are you…? Yes, I am. /No, I’m not.) 三Practice:

1、T:OK,the story is over. How do you think about the bird? S:聪明。

T: Yes, he is very clever. Are you clever? S: Yes. T:OK, now let’s play a game. Who is fast? (教师出示单词卡片,男女生比赛拍单词,谁快给哪队加分。)

2、OK, very good, now let’s play a guessing game. (转盘男女生抢答,答对给相应的队伍加分。)

3、T:OK, stop here. Answer my last question: Are you happy today? S: Yes, I am. 四Home work: 1、Write the new words. 2、Read the new sentences.

教学反思:

本课是选自《英语》(上海教育出版社)小学三年级起点四年级上册Unit 3 Are you happy?第一课时。在备课的过程中,我根据针对小学生好动、好奇、喜欢亲身经历的心理特征,我利用多媒体课件及制作故事绘本呈现本课的教学内容。让学生操练语言文化知识,进而掌握新学知识。在授课过程中,我首先让学生唱了If you are happy.这首歌,学生通过歌曲,马上做好准备,进入英语学习的氛围中。然后利用绘本故事《乌鸦喝水》贯穿整节课,讲授thirsty, tired, sad, happy.四个新单词,并用单词练习说句子I am …. Are you …. 吸引学生的兴趣,故事简单易懂,学生的学习积极性很高,而且说得和好。为了检测学生对本节课的掌握程度,我设计了男女生比赛拍单词及轮盘抢答单词说句子游戏,效果和好。
