1、学习生词goldfish, parrot, next to 2、学习表存在的表达法“There is…”,和表示方位的Next to。

3、全体学生能够流利地朗读课文,理解Let’s talk语篇内容。

2、在教学中,通过大量的语言输入,培养学生听的能力和用英语思考的习惯。

3、在练习过程中,通过小组合作活动,培养学生合作学习的能力。

1、能听懂、会说生词goldfish, parrot, next to 2、能用“There is…”表示存在的表达法(教学重点) 3、全体学生能理解并能流利地朗读课文。

3教学过程

Step1. 1. Greetings. T: Hello, boys and girls. Ps: Hello. T: Glad to meet you. Ps: Glad to meet you, too.

Step 2.Review and

Lead-in. T:Today, we are going to a zoo.Look! What animals can you see? Ps: sheep, ox, tortoise, T: Please guess “What animals do I like?”

Show a picture of a fish and a gold on screen. And ask students to spell it. Then teach pupils to read. T: There is a red goldfish. Write the title on the blackboard and ask pupils to read it.

Step3. Presentation 1.

Show the pupils the picture of a parrot and ask pupils to read together. Play a train game and seek and hide. 2.

“Next to”, show the picture and let pupils know the meanings and the usage. Play games to practice.

Listen to the recording and read after it. Pupils read Conversation 1 in role. Read the conversation with the movement.

T: What can you see in the picture? Pupils answer the question. (Panda,parrot ) Ask pupils to make a sentence with “There is a……”(There is a panda. There is a parrot.) Pupils read Conversation 2 by themselves and then answer the question.(Where is the parrot?) Ask pupils to find out the answer to the question. (Next to the big panda.)www-2-1-cnjy-com

Pupils read in groups.

Step6.Make a dialogue like the conversation1,2.

Eg: A: Look, there is a/an________. B: Where? A: Next to__________. B: It’s so __________.

Step 7. Doing exercise. Ask pupils to choose the exercise to finish. Check the answers with the whole class.

Step8. Summary. Revie what we’ve learned in this class.

Step9. Homework 1、Read the text. 2、Make sentence with “There is a……”
