Unit 3 Language in use (1) 【教学内容分析】

本模块以肢体语言为话题。比较详细的介绍了各国的肢体语言，利用对话等相关内容展示了各国应该遵守的肢体语言规则。内容充实，且功能性强，学生在语言学习和语言训练的同时可以了解更多的外国文化。

【学情分析】

学生对本模块的中心话题会很感兴趣，握手等身体语言为学生所熟悉，所以便于开展听、说、读、写活动，激发学生的学习热情，积极参加小组活动。

【教学目标】

Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Revision and lead-in

Revise the sentences about body language. Ss should pay attention to the imperative sentence features.

Step 2 New words Bring的原形和过去式brought. Step 3 Talk about do’s and don’ts in a foreign country

Look at the table and talk about what we can do and what we can’t do in Britain in pairs.

Britain Stand in line. Shake hands. Say “please” and “thank you”.

Open doors for others. Look at people when you talk. Be on time.

Step 4 Make a list of do’s and don’ts to help visitors to Britain List several rules visitors should obey in Britain according to what you have learned. 1. Give them more personal space. 2. Wave to say goodbye. 3. Be careful! 4. Don’t stand too close to North Americans.

5. Be polite to the teacher. 6. Don’t touch the British at all!

7. Look at each other when you talk in Britain and the US. 8. Stand up when you answer a question in class. 9. Don’t be late for class.

10. Don’t eat food in class.

Step 5 Rewrite the sentence

First, let Ss look at the example. Then let Ss follow the example to finish the following five sentences. The main purpose is to master the imperative sentence. Do’s

(谓语)动词原形+其它成分.

否定形式: 常在肯定式前加Don’t,

Don’t be late next time!

Don’t take it with you!

Don’t let her go there.

由Let引导的句子多是祈使句，即：

“Let+宾语+动词原形+其他”

→否定形式:

“Don’t+let+宾语+动词原形

+其它”

或“Let+宾语+not+动词原形+其他”

Let him not go there.

Don’t let him go there.

祈使句表示要求、建议对方“将来”做或不做某事，因此其肯定应答语通常用I/we will。否定答语通常用

I/we won’t。如:

--- Knock on the door before you go in!

--- I will.

--- Don’t forget to turn off the lights when you leave.

-- I won’t.
