一.教材分析:

本课以冀教版小学英语六年级下册第13第一部分为载体,以季节为核心词,结合季节变换图片、视频,展开一系列相关的描述。所授句型涉及四季中树叶的长落、颜色的变换,四季天气的变化。

二.教学目标:

1.掌握句型:In ______( season) , trees have _____ leaves.

2.Describe features of different seasons with weather words.

三.教学重点:

掌握句型:In ______( season) , trees have _____ leaves.

四.教学难点:

Read and Understand the Poem: Colorful Seasons.

五.教学过程:

1.Show the pictures of four seasons and ask:

How many seasons in a year? What are they?

(设计意图:开门见山,揭示本课的核心词:season. )

2.Observe the picture of a tree. Try to answer:

What happens to the tree in different seasons?

(设计意图:通过观察一棵树在四季中变化的动态图片,让学生真实地感受树叶的长落,为后面理解新句型做了合理的铺垫。)

3.Describe the changes of leaves with the sentence:

In ______( season) , trees have _____ leaves.

(设计意图:通过帮助学生描述树叶的变化,感受四季的更替。完成基本教学目标。) 4.Pair—work: Describe the seasons.

A: How’s the weather in ____(season)?

B: It is ______.

A: What happens to trees in _____?

(设计意图:结合天气词汇,对四季加以更全面的描述,丰富了学生描述季节的语言,提高了语言运用能力。)

7.Read the poem: Colorful Seasons

(设计意图:诗句优美、朗朗上口。通过全身心地诵读,可以使学生产生美的享受,唤起对大自然的热爱之情。进而更为完整地完成了本课的教学目标。) 8.Group—work:

Make bookmarks of seasons. Write some words to describe the seasons. (设计意图:通过小组合作活动,制作季节的书签。结合所学内容,在书签上写出描述四季的句子。既是对学习的检验,又使学生再一次领略了四季各有不同、各有特点。从而深化了教学主题。)
