一、教学内容与学情分析:
1、教学内容: Just speak 2、教材及学生情况分析:
Just speak部分是用于描写人物外貌特征的英文表达方式,通过有趣的介绍并描述自己的朋友来学习句型
What’s her/his name ? Her/His name is Zhou Pei/Peter.等句型,并进行操练。五年级学生具有模仿力、表现欲、求知欲强的特点,学生们对英语有浓厚的学习爱好,上课积极主动,活泼大胆,然而他们的理解能力相对较弱,注意力不易长时间集中,不喜欢单调的重复。因此,教师必须从学生的认知实际出发,遵循语言学习规律,组织形式多样的语言实践活动,使英语教学活动切实有效。
二、设计理念:
小学英语教学提倡活动式教学,其目的是让学生在不同的语言活动中感受、理解、记忆并运用语言,让学生在活动中积极参与、大胆实践,达到学以致用的学习效果,让学生通过说唱歌谣、做游戏、表演等形式多样、内容丰富的活动去习得语言,培养学生英语综合运用语言的能力。而且多媒体技术的运用能激发学生的学习爱好,能创设有利于激发和支持学生想象的情境。在小学英语课堂教学中,适时、合理地运用计算机辅助教学,可以优化教学过程。多媒体课件设置了较多的与课堂教学内容关系密切的动画、图片,给学生以乐趣,更给学生以启迪,为学生创设了自主学习的情境,优化了课堂教学模式,提高了教学效率。
三、教学目标
:
(一)语言知识目标
1、学生能够听、说、认读单词:pretty, bright, cute, active 和短语 school work。
2、能够在情景中理解、会说、会用 What’s her name? 及答语 Her name is Zhou Pei. How old is she? 及答语 She’s ten. (二)语言技能目标
1、
能够在适当的情景中,简要描述自己朋友的外貌特征和个性特点。
2、
能够运用所学知识,获取未知信息、传递新信息。
(三)情感态度目标
1、进一步提高学生对英语学习的热情,培养更加稳定的学习兴趣。能够积极主动地参与课堂语言实践活动,大胆开口,主动交流。
2、
培养学生热情友好和热爱生活的美好情感,锻炼学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神。
(四)教学重点: What is her/his name? Her/His name is Zhou Pei/Peter. How old is she? She’s ten.以及描述人物外貌特征和个性特点的词汇和句子。
(五)教学难点:She has beautiful long hair and big bright eyes. She is cute and active.并在适当的情景中,简要描述自己朋友的外貌特征和个性特点。

五、教学过程 1、Warm-up

Thank you! Sit down please. 2、Presentation 1)以旧带新引入句型what’s her/his name? Her/His name is...? How old is she/he? She/He is...? T: what’s your name? S1: My name is Chen Han. T: Nice to meet you Chen Han. How old are you? S1: I am eleven. 同样的方式再问2-3个学生。
T:Now boys and girls, please look at the screen.(出示班上一名女同学的照片) What’s her name? Ss: Her name is... (T引导) T:What’s his name?(出示一名男同学的照片) Ss: His name is... T: How old is he? 师生、生生对话操练这两个重点句型
2)通过迎新年举办派对这一情境,引入pretty、cute、active、be good at的学习,以及练习描绘人物外貌特征和个性特点。
3、Learn just speak 1) T: Boys and girls, what day is it today? Ss: It is Wednesday. T: What about tomorrow? Ss: Tomorrow is Thursday. T: What about the day after tomorrow? Ss: It is Friday. T: Yes! When Friday ends, we’ll usually meet our friends on the weekend. Today we’ll talk about friends. Please look at the picture. Kate and her mum go to the park and meet her new friend. Now read this dialogue and answer my questions about her friend. Q1: What’s her name?
Q2: How old is she? Q3: What’s she like? Q4: What is she good at? 2) Read the dialogue loudly and then act it out. 4、Production 1)Create a dialogue by useful information with the partner. Then act it out. 2) Play a guessing game. One student to introduce his friend and the other students to guess: what’s her/his name? Firstly T says and Ss guess. Then S1 says and Ss guess. Divide the students into two groups. If you are right, you’ll get a flag for your group. We will see who is the best winner.

3) Model show T: Do you like watching model show? Now I ask some students to act as a model and the other students to describe her/him: what’s her/his name? What’s he/she like?
4) Sing a song T: Can you sing two tigers? Let’s sing a song. She has long hair. She has bright eyes. What’s her name? Her name is Sarah. Her name is Sarah. She is cute. He is tall. He is thin. What’s his name? His name is John. His name is John. He is active. 5、Homework Describe your friends to your parents.
