Teaching Objectives: 1.

Students can understand and read all the new words and the main drills. 2.

They can choose the fruits that they like or dislike then use the sentences that they have learned in real situation. Emotional Objectives: They know “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”

Main Points: 1.

They can say the key words: apple(s) pear(s) banana(s) orange(s) 2. They can say and use the key sentences: Do you like pears? —— Yes, I do./ No, I don’t. Difficult Points: 1.

Students should pay attention to the sound of each word. 2.

Students need to understand the dialogue and make it clearly. Teaching Aids:

CAI, PPT, the flash cards, the recorder, the text book , Multimedia Teaching Procedures: Step1: Free talk How are you today? Step2: Sing a song I have a gift for the students, then ask someone to open it. I play the flash and let them sing the song together with me. (The name of the song is “Apple round, apple red” ) Step3: Lead- in: I show a picture to the students and let them guess and say. Step4: Presentation& Practice：

Read and spell it together. c.

Read the word group by group or one by one.

Then let someone find the apple out from anther picture and count. e.

I show the apples to the students and say “I like apples. Do you like apples?”

Read the sentences group by group or one by one. 3.

I let them guess the fruit. (The pear is yellow. Which fruit is also yellow and it has a long body.) b)

The students guess it then read and spell it together. c)

Then let them say the “bananas” by themselves. e)

I show the bananas to them and say “Do you like bananas?”

I answer “Yes, I do.” And I say “I like bananas, they are so sweet.)

I ask them“Is the orange sweet?”The students answer “No, it isn’t.”

Then let them say the “oranges” by themselves. e)

I show the oranges to them and let them ask me “Do you like oranges?”

Then I choose someone to answer. ( I ask the students “Do you like oranges?”

If someone answers me “Yes, I do.” I’ll say “Wow, you like to eat the sour things, you are so brave.) 5. Listen to the recorder and follow it. Read the words one by one. Step5: Production & Games 1. Game1: Look and say

I show some fruits to the students and let them say the fruits quickly. 2. After playing this game, the students can see the pears, then I ask them“Do you like pears?”And let someone answer. Then they can listen to the recorder and practice. Finally they can get 2 minutes to work in pairs and role play. 3. Game2: Ask and answer I show a basket and there are some fruit.Let students ask and answer using the key sentences. Step6: Learn the new chant. 1. Let the students clap their hands and do it together. 2. Then I show another picture to the students and say “The fruits are yummy, let’s eat them.”

“Wow, a fruit bowl in my tummy.” Let them read the sentence after me. 3. I play the chant again and let them do it together. Step7: Summary: An apple a day keeps the doctor away, they can eat some fruits and do some exercises. It will good for their heath. Step8: Homework:
