一、教学目标

1. 能够完成Let’s try。 2. 能够理解Let’s talk大意；能够按照正确的语音、语调朗读对话，并能进行角色表演。 3. 能够在情景中运用句型When is …? It’s on …

询问并回答某节日的日期。 4. 能够在语境中理解生词special的意思，并能正确发音。 二、教学重难点

1. 重点：在情景中运用句型When is …? It’s on …

询问并回答某个活动在哪个月举行。 2. 难点：special, fool的发音。

三、学情分析

五年级的学生在第三单元对节日、月份有了一定的认读基础，而且知道在月份前用in 来表示，本节课只需要教师稍加强调，在具体日期前用“on”即可。 四、教具准备

五、教学过程

Step 1: Greeting. T：Class begin. S: Stand up. Ss: Good morning teacher. T: Good morning boys and girls. Sit down please. I’m glad to see you again. Are you happy today?

Ss: Yes. T: Today Let’s learn Unit 4 When is Easter? Ok show me your finger.师板书课题，生书空。

Step 2 : Warm-up and Chant T: Look at the blackboard, Let’s chant together, When you see the month you should touch the desk two times, When you see the holidays please clap your hands two times, understand? Ss: Ok. T: Let’s do it! January January Happy New Year Year February February winter vacation March March plant trees together April April Easter party May May May Day June June Children’s Day ……

师生齐chant The twelve months。

Step3: Review T: Everybody look at the picture, Who can tell me when is New Year’s Day? 师出示元旦图片，示范对话内容，以此来引导学生复习句型。

S1: It’s in …. T: Great, Now this time ,use the four pictures talk about your partner. 师让学生汇报，练习情况。

S2: When is ……?

S3: It’s in ……. Step4: New lesson T：Everybody Look here, What’s this?师出示操场图片

Ss: Playground. T：Yes, It’s a beautiful playground, Now Who can tell me Who are they?教师出示Mr. Jones和Zhang Peng。

Ss: Mr. Jones and ZhangPeng. T：Wonderful, Zhang Peng is running in the playground, and then Mr.Jones comes and talks to him, Now Let’s listen carefully and answer to my a question, Which month are they talking about?师播放对话视频情景，生听。

T: Super, Let’s listen again, answer to my two questions. 1.When is Fool’s Day? 2.When is Easter? T：There are some special days in April.（special为新词，教师需解释其意思并注意学生的发音）。

教师在讲授special时，引入spring, speak, sport等词，通过字母组合sp变化读音来帮助学生拼读记忆单词结构。

T：There are some special days in April. What are they?学生回答问题。

师引导学生说出April Fool’s Day 和Easter。

教师同样讲授fool的读音及汉译，并复习字母组合oo的发音。

T:This time ,you can act Mr. Jones or ZhangPeng talk with your partner. then I’ll ask two students read the dialogue. Mr Jones:

ZhangPeng: T：There some special days in June. Who can tell me ? What are they?师出示6月份日历图片，引导学生说出6月份有Children’s Day和Father’s Day。

T：When is Children’s Day?教师追问儿童节在什么时候，来引导学生说出答案。

Step 5: Practice T：Very good, Look there are some months cards in the blackboard. Let’s make dialogue with your partner?师先示范引导，然后让学生仿照句型操练，练习对话。

A：There are some special days in January. B: What are they ? A: New Year’s Day. B: When is New Year’s Day? A: It’s in January 1st. T: Open your books, Let’s talking about the holidays. 生练习。

Step 6: Expansion and promotion T: Sarah asks WuYifan“When is China’s National Day?”

.WuYifan says “It’s on October 1st.”

T: Now ,let’s talk about the holidays with your partner. S3: When is ……? S4: It’s on……. 板书设计：
