Step 1 Greetings and warming up (3mins) 1 Greet the class as usually and ask some questions:

What about bad weather , are you happy ? 2 Giving gifts. T prepares some some gifts to Ss and ask “ Are you feeling happy” Ss say “I am feeling happy”or “I am happy”

Step 2. Leeding in (2 mins) 1 Show Ss the title “Feelings”

Ask Ss to guess “What’s the meaning of feelings” and at same time Ss do the expression happy/ sad /scared/tired

2 Ss and Tt do the expression together. Step 3. Present (20分钟) 1 New words learning Ahappy

1Show Ss the picture of birthday party.

Ss know the word of “happy”

2 Invite Ss to draw the happy face on the board. 3 read it. B sad

try to prounce it accordind to teacher’s mouth shape. Write it down on the board and draw a angry face. E scared Teacher show the picture of a man who is afraid of a mouse. Ss follow the T to read it. Hide the word and Ss spell it and draw a angry face

3 Sentence structure learning

Ss answer “I am feeling happy.”

Write this sentence structure on the board. 2 When you see a ghost , how is your feeling？

When you do a lot of homework ,how is your feeling?

Step 4. Present (10分钟) 1Game time: Everyone draw a face Pass the ball:passer says the sentence : how are you feeling today？

Receiver answer:I am felling ___. T chooses a Ss drawing

and ask :how is he/she feeling?
