二、学生情况分析

本单元的教学任务围绕Shapes这个主题展开,学习一些有关形状的新单词:circle, square,triangle, star, rectangle,在教学新单词的同时,注重调用多种句型让学生在相应的情景中习得语言,运用语言。通过语境将新旧知识融合在一起,培养学生的阅读理解能力和语言交际能力。通过儿歌的学习,掌握句型...b e like的表达,最后的语音学习中,使学生能了解字母组-ff的发音。

根据学生已具备的语言知识和语言技能,结合学生的生活常识,期望通过本单元的教学后,学生能准确认读circle, square,triangle, star, rectangle,house等这几个单词。运用What is it? What shape is it? How many stars are there?等问句询问对方,并能用It's... There is/ are...等做出正确的回答。通过儿歌,老歌新唱,问答,表演等形式激发学生的学习兴趣,在情景中进一步理解和运用所学单词和句型,并逐步完成由听说到读写的教学任务。

【单元目标】

知识与技能

1、知道字母组合-ff在单词中的发音。

2、学生能在语境中朗读、拼写和理解circle, square, triangle, star, rectangle , house的意义。

3、学生能知道情态动词can的意义,并能理解情态动词can后面加动词原形的用法。

4、学生能用What shape is…?进行询问物体的形状,并能询问每种形状的数量。

5、依据情境,流利表达不同事物的形状以及用不同的形状拼搭出各种图形的小语段。

文化与情感

通过学习运用核心句型较流利地介绍生活中事物的形状。

学习策略

通过图片和对话体验在各种不同的情境中如何了解事物的形状。

H: Hello, my name is Harry. I am a clever monkey.

H: Look! I have many shapes. I can make many things with the shapes.

F: This is our new room. It’s big and clean. There is a window. It’s a square.

H: It’s OK. I can make things with the shapes. What do you want?

M: Harry, I want a bed. Can you make one for me?

H: OK. Look, I have a big rectangle. I can make a bed with the rectangle.

H: Mum, here’s a bed for you.It’s a rectangle.

M: Thank you, Harry. I can sleep on the bed now. You are so super!

S: Harry, I want a table. Can you make one for me?

H: Sure. What shape is it?

S: I like this table. It’s a triangle.

H: Kitty, here’s a table for you. It’s a triangle.

S: Thank you, Harry. I can draw on the table now. You are so super!

F: Harry, we want some chairs. Can you make some for us?

H: OK. Look! I have a star. I have a circle. I can make chairs with a star and a circle.

H: Dad, here are some chairs for you.

F: Thank you, Harry. We can sit on the chair now. You are so super!

H, F, M &S: We have the bed, the table and the chairs. We can do many things together. We are very happy.

A: What are they?

B: They are rectangles, circles, stars and squares.

A: How many rectangles do you have?

B: I have a rectangle.

A: How many squares do you have?

B: I have one square.

A: How many stars and circles do you have?

B: I have one star and one circle.

A: Can you make a house with them?

B: Yes, I can. Look, that’s a nice house.

A: So nice!

第三课时:

I have some boards. They are squares. I can make a box for Dad. He can put some keys in it. I have a big rectangle and four small circles. I can make a bag for my Mum. She can take it for shopping. I have big triangles and small stars. I can make a robot for my brother Tom. He can play with it.

My father, mother and brother like my gifts. They are happy. I’m happy too. I like to be a designer.
