Lesson L What a Beautiful Kite 一、教学目标

1、能听会说本课的形容词类单词long，short，beautiful，ugly，fat，thin，做到发音准确，语调自然。

2、能用“What a ...！”“How ...!”表达感叹。

3、通过游戏等各种操练，使学生能够用简单的英语表达自己的情感。

4、培养学生活泼、开朗、善于表达情感的和乐于交往的良好个性。

二、教学重点、难点

1、单词short，beautiful，和thin 的发音。

2、能将所学的知识灵活地运用于日常生活中。

三、教学准备

单词卡片，教学磁贴，PPT。

Step1：Warm-up. (1)Say hello to students. (2)Let’s sing 《Fly My kite》. Step2：Presentation. （一）话题交流，导入新课。

T：Do you like flying a kite? Ss:Yes,I do. T:Now look, what’s this? Ss:It’s a kite. T:Yes,It’s a beautiful kite. What a beautiful kite.

（二）Let’s review. 1、复习所学单词。

2、Let’s chant. Long,long,it’s long. Short,short,it’s short. Ugly,ugly,he’s ugly. ... （三）情景创设，教学“What

a/an ···!”、“How ···!”

1、T:What a beautiful kite! （出示风筝图片）。How beautiful !让学生理解感叹句。

2、出示一张长的风筝图片，练习“What a long kite！”“How long！”

Step3：Practice. 完成Let’s practice中的教学。

1、出示图片，教学“What a big mouse.”“How big.”

2、给出一些图片，让学生分组练习“What a/a···”“How···”（不用刻意强调a/an的用法，学生说错时再强调）。

3、可以考虑一个Let’s chant. Long, long, what a long kite. Short,short,what a short snake.

... Step4:Extension. 1、呈现Let’s talk部分。

T：Boys and girls ，let’s fly a kite，OK？

S：OK!

T：Let’s go！

2、学生整体听录音，让学生感知课文。

3、再次听录音，回答问题。

Q2：Who are they？What do they see? 4、跟读录音，熟悉对话。

5、两人一组，上台表演。

6、仿编课文。
