Unit 1 A visit to a farm

教学设计说明

学生情况分析:

四年级学生通过三年多的英语学习,已经积累了一定的语言知识。就词汇而言,学生在动词、动物类单词、形容词有了一定的积累。就句型而言,学生能熟练运用to be句型、to have句型、can句型和there be句型等。四年级的学生之间的差异较为明显,但他们有一定的表达和描述能力,表现欲强,善于合作和交流,他们活泼好学、愿意说。在课上,绝大多数学生能积极参与学习过程,对游戏、竞赛、歌曲、听说活动等尤为感兴趣。

模块教学任务分析:

4A M4的学习主题为The natural world,其中出现的有关“农场、公园或天气”的话题都在之前不同层次地涉及过,但具体的话语表达要求和对学生的能力要求有所递进。通过本模块三个单元的学习,要求学生能在相关的场景中进行适当描述,适时地培养学生爱护动物、热爱大自然、保护环境的良好意识。

在本模块学习之前,学生已初步具有相关单词、句型的基础,例如:农场动物类单词、天气的描述及To be 单复数句型、To have句型等。随着年级的升高与学习要求的提高,本模块新增了月份的表达方式及不同地域天气情况问答,体验郊游活动的各项环节等。

同时,本模块对学生的技能训练,特别是对阅读和表达有了更高的要求,词汇量明显增加,阅读文本篇幅也相应增加。在知识内容上形式丰富,涉及儿歌、对话、表演、游戏、e-mail等多种体裁与学习形式;在交际能力上,也更注重在真实情境之中的体验与运用,例如:识别公园地图,发送电子邮件等。

单元教学任务分析:

通过本单元的学习,要求学生能掌握一些农场动物的名称以及它们的叫声。在此基础上学生能初步了解与理解核心词汇,各种标志及各种规则。能用祈使句Don’t…来说说农场里要遵守的规则。能用句型What do they eat? They eat…谈论农场动物的习性、喜欢吃的食物。

通过本单元的学习,让学生逐渐了解到如何参观农场,能遵守农场的规则。并能感受农场的生活,能了解动物、热爱动物、保护动物。

1、各学习项目分析

Listen and enjoy: 儿歌吟唱,激发学习兴趣、培养学生的语感。

Look and learn: 核心学习板块,主要进行单词及祈使句的学习,重点是hay, grass, corn, meat以及Don’t litter. Don’t walk on the grass. Don’t pick flowers. Don’t throw stones. 要求学生能理解并运用以上词汇与句型,能说说农场动物所吃的食物以及农场里要遵守的一些规则。

Say and act: 情景运用,创设场景来学会新学、操练新学,为运用新学提供平台。

Think and write: 通过想想写写来巩固农场动物的习性、喜欢吃的食物。

Play a game: 通过游戏巩固祈使句的用法。

Read and match: 阅读故事并与图片配对,激发学生对农场动物的进一步理解与认识。

Learn the sound: 语音学习,感受辅音字母组合的发音,初步树立音素概念,做到发音准确、到位。

2、知识要点介绍

1.能学习和掌握单词:hay, grass, corn, meat,做到音、形、义的统一;能适当补充和巩固相关的动物爱吃的食物,如bones等;知道不同的动物对食物有着不同的喜好。

2.能学习和掌握单词:rubbish, bin, stone;适当补充相关单词和词组,如:leave rubbish, rubbish bin, sign等。

3.能学习和掌握“to be”句型的复数句,如:What are these? They are…等。

4.能学习和掌握祈使句,重点是:(1)Let’s … (2) Don’t …,如:Don’t litter. Don’t walk on the grass. Don’t pick flowers. Don’t throw stones. Let’s visit the farm. 等;能养成良好的行为习惯。

5.能学习和掌握一般现在时态的特殊问句以及回答,如:--- What do they eat? --- They eat hay. 等。

6. 能学习和掌握字母组合-sc和-sk的发音,如:scarf, skateboard等。

第1课时教学目标:

1. 初步感受和了解核心词汇:rubbish, bin, litter, throw, stone, sign.

2. 初步学习和了解祈使句,Don’t …句型,说说农场中的规则和标志意思。

3. 培养学生能遵守规则的良好行为习惯。

1. Miss Fang and the children are on the farm. Now they are near the bin.

Mr. M.D: Thanks! Look at the sign. Don’t litter on the farm. Please put the rubbish in the rubbish bin.

第2课时教学目标:

1. 学习和掌握核心词汇:hay, grass, corn, meat,

2. 能用wh-question熟练进行询问动物喜欢的食物;进一步学习和掌握一般现在时态的特殊问句以及回答。

3. 能用食物来喂动物,进一步了解农场动物的习性,感受农场的生活和动物的生活。
