Teaching Aims:

Can use the sentences:

1.---What are you doing?

--- I am cooking.

2.---What is he/she doing?

--- He/she is v.-ing

Teaching Steps:

I Warming up:

1.Greeting

2.Sing a song “Are you sleeping, Brother John’’

3.Review the words (word cards)

II Presentation

1.Take out the apron and wear it.

T: Please look at me and guess. What am I doing?

Ss: You are cooking.

T: And you can ask me “what are you doing?”and I should say “I am cooking”(Subject of writing)

2. Do the action and practice the sentences with the words “stand, sit, read...”

3.Let’s talk

1) The teacher plays the PPT and the students just listen.

2) Play the PPT again and the students act it
