Step 2. While- reading 1.

Who is she? Guess ,what colour are her bananas? Read the text by yourselves, then answer the question. 2. How many animals are there in the text? Who are they?(Draw the simple pictures) 3.What colour is Miss Dog’s hair?(write the key word:hair)

4.What things are red,too? (write the key word:socks) 5.Lead to retell the first paragraph. 6.In the same way, students try to find out the key words of the other paragraph and retell. 7.Students retell by themselves, then call sb. To retell.

Step 3. Post-reading 1.Teacher shows a picture, and describe it like this:

Miss Bird says “My apples are red.”

What colour are Miss Bird’s apples?

Her apples are red. Her house is red , too. 2. Students takes out theirs pictures, introduce it in groups. 3.Teacher picks some pictures and set them together to be a book.
