Unit4 When is Easter? Part C Story time 一、教学内容：

故事板块呈现的是Zoom不受外界干扰，专心练习唱歌，并最终在唱歌考试中取得好成绩的故事。学生除了复习与巩固句型The singing test will be on May 4th. I can’t... I want to...等，还通过图片和上下文拓展理解新句子Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party/play football with me after school? I want to practise my song. I need more practice. I’ll go swimming tonight.等。

二、学情分析：

1、对于小学五年级学生来说，他们已经有了一定的英语基础，经过三四年级的学***多数学生有一定的英语语言接受和表达能力，词汇量有一定的储备，能进行简单的口语交流，对教师的课堂指令和体态语言己有相当好的反应。

2、学生学习兴趣较浓，积极性较高，但也有少数学生对语言的认知能力不强，缺乏一定的学习能力，反应较迟缓有待进一步提高。学生对日期的表达还不够流利。

二、教学目标：

1、学生能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解故事内容，复习和巩固句型

2、扩展学习句型Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party/play football with me after lunch? I want to practise my song. I need more

practice. I’ll go swimming tonight，增加学生语言输入。

3、能够理解故事内容、朗读故事、表演故事，并能在语境中恰当运用故事中的语言。

4.、在故事语境中，通过Zoom 专心刻苦练习并最终在不擅长的唱歌考试中得到音乐老师称赞的经历，让学生了解英语谚语“Practice makes perfect.”的深刻含义。

三、教学重难点：

1、教学重点: 1. 能读懂“Story time”部分的选择任务。

2. 完成填空任务并有感情的表演故事。

2、教学难点：

能够在语境中理解新词practise与practice的区别；在语境中理解Practice makes perfect. 的含义。

五、教学过程：

Step1: Warm-up 1.

Enjoy a song. 2.

交代任务：

T: In this class, we’re going to have a story-telling test. 3.

评价机制：

Perfect card ：If you do perfect, you can get a perfect card. But you should say “perfect”, you can sit down。

4．Watch a video and have some students come to the front and answer the questions.(观看微课然后叫几组学生上台自己动手回答问题) 设计意图：学生在歌曲的引导下迅速进入本节课的学习，以微课的形式以旧引新，迅速激发学生的想象以及思考的欲望。

Step2：Present the story. 1.

Lead-in 出示PPT，学生考试的图片，让学生猜测是哪个科目的考试。然后引出学生的唱歌考试—singing test.进而引出Zoom的singing test.

(教读，检查读) 设计意图：让学生整体感知故事大意，培养学生抓住重点信息的能力。

（1）、出示第一幅图片，The singing test will be on May 4th , Zoom can’t sing well. What should he do? Zip：Don’t worry. Practice makes perfect.播放录音，讲解重点单词worry，practice和perfect，让学生跟读，有感情的表演对话。

（2）、出示第二至四幅图片，让学生边听录音边排列顺序，检查排序情况，逐图进行讲解，并让学生进行跟读，感受Zoom的心情。On May 1st, May2nd, May3rd , his three friends want to play with him, what do they say? Please read and find out.

Step3: Practise the story（小组合作上台表演故事）

1.Read the story in groups. 2.Act out the story in roles.（佩戴头饰表演故事）

设计意图：让学生模仿视频中的语音、语调，培养学生的语感。

Step4: Make a new story(重新创编一个故事) Story-telling test: Make a new story。

设计意图：通过学习故事，然后对故事进行重新改编，达到了对知识从输入到输出的结果。
