PEP五年级下册Unit 4《When is Easter？》

【教学设想】

这是一节阅读教学课，在设计本节课的教学环节中，我通过介绍自己的pet来引入文章主题。在教学新单词方面，我采用图片教学、由旧引新教学，让学生们运用自然拼读法，轻松掌握新单词。在教学《Read and write》部分，前面1、2篇日记，我运用略读、查读、精读的步骤，设计问题让学生解答，让学生展示阅读效果来达到阅读教学的目的。在本节课的教学中，我侧重学生训练学生的自主学习能力，学生们通过小组合作的形式完成3、4篇的日记阅读。在知识拓展方面，我更是注重学生的口语能力表达，创设情境让学生们动手写，从而达到快乐学习、轻松写作的目的。

【教学目标】

一、知识目标

1. 能听说认读单词：kitten, diary, still, noise ,fur, open, walk,能理解日记中的句子,能够按照正确的语音、语调、意群朗读课文，并完成课后活动。能正确使用be 动词、to have句型、can句型来描述动物的变化。

二、能力目标

能让学生掌握《Read and write》的阅读策略,根据图片与关键词的提示,完成一篇小作文。

三、情感目标：

培养学会热爱生活,珍惜生命,爱惜动物的习惯。

【教学重点难点】

重点：能理解They still

can’t

see. Their eyes are open！They can walk/play with Robin！They have white fur now. They make noise when they are hungry.等句子。

难点：能用be动词、情态动词can和to have句型来描述动物；能抓住对比句子来理解动物的生长过程。

课前准备：课件、Flash动画、录音等等。

【教学过程】

【Step1.Warm-up】

1.Greeting with each other 2.Sing the song: When is your birthday? 3.Sharp eyes 4.Review the key sentences 【Step2.Presentation】

Lead-in T：Introduce my own pet. Then the students introduce their pets like this：

I have a...It's .... T：How about the animal's birthday? (Students answer the questions. ) It's on.... T: My friend Sarah has a pet, too. Guess, what is it?（Act like a cat）

Ss：It's a cat. Sarah is very happy.The cat has two baby cats.We also can say kittens.And she writes a diary and takes many pictures for them.Let's see. 【Task1】. Fast reading 1.Listen and order 【设计意图：试听排顺序，初步感知日记内容】

2.教学新单词

Use the pictures to teach the new words：diary/ diaries. Review the words to lead in the new words :kitten/kittens 【设计意图:通过图片教学避免了枯燥的单词教学。】

3.略读，出示第一篇日记和图片

【设计意图：学生Find out the key words,降低阅读难度。】

【Task2】.查读 Answer the questions A．Can they see? B．When is the kitten's birthday? C．What colour are they ? Why？引导学生观察图片，并回答。

【设计意图：通过问题贯穿文段，让学生在寻找答案的同时完成阅读】。

【Task3】.精读Listen and repeat the diary. Ask some students to read the passage, then act it out. 【设计意图：通过小组交流找答案的方式，透彻地理解文段，并且在听读过程中注重培养学生的语感。】

1、同法教学第二篇日记。

2、Play a game: L—W—S(Letter—word—sentence) 【设计意图:用打乱字母顺序的单词造句,既可巩固新词,又可训练口语。】

3、出示第三、第四幅图片。

Can you say something about the kittens?模仿第一、第二篇日记，学生以小组自学的方法阅读后两篇的内容。

【设计意图：四人小组内共同阅读，发现问题及时讨论，降低阅读难度，培养学生的合作精神。】

【Task4】：Repeat the four diaries. Ask some students to Perform the paragraph. 【Step3.Practice】

1、学生独立完成Read and write部分。

2、完成书写题:Write two sentences about the kittens.

3.拓展：Can you write more？

4.让学生总结介词on的用法。

【Step4.Consolidation】

1．Free talk: A month later, what will happen？

【设计意图：训练学生的口语能力,学生通过教师设计的问题，说出自己的答案，最终连成一篇小作文。（学生口头朗读、跟读）】

2.Write a diary for Miss Lan. And then show it, too. 【设计意图：根据图片与关键词的提示，用be动词、情态动词can和to have句型来描述动物,达到训练学生写作能力的目的。】

【Step5：Ending】

1.We should protect animals.

2.What do you think of your performance today?

Homework：

1.Copy the important sentences twice.

2.Write a diary for your own pet.
