The ant and the grasshopper Grasshopper: I’m a grasshopper. I’m green. I like hopping. Ant: I’m an ant. I’m brown. I like working. Grasshopper: I like sleeping in spring and summer. Look at the grass. It is green. Ant, Ant! Sleep with me. Ant: No, no, no! I like making a house. Grasshopper: I like singing and dancing in autumn. Look at the leaves. They’re red and yellow. Ant, Ant! Sing and dance with me. Ant: No, no, no! I like getting some food. Grasshopper: Look at the snow. It’s white. I don’t like winter. It’s too cold.
Ant: I like reading at home in winter.
Grasshopper: May I come in? I’m hungry and cold.
Ant: Come in, please. Grasshopper: Thank you!
