Stick the flashcards for the adjectives such as soft, hard, smooth, and rough on the blackboard. Opposites 1.
Tell the students that rough and smooth are opposites, and soft and hard are opposites too. then review some more opposites they’ve learned.

Have the students work in a small group and play a matching game. Ask them to make some picture cards that with the opposites. Encourage them to think of thing different from the text book. 3.
Mix the cards of things and adjectives 4.
Lay the cards face down in tow rows on the desk. 5.
The students take turns to turn over a card in each row. If the cards turned over do not make an opposite pair, replace the cards face down. If the cards make an opposite pair, collect the cards. 6.
Count the pairs of cards. The one who has the most pairs wins.
