Purposes

Ⅰ. Pre-task Preparation

Have Ps sing a song Review what what on Sb page they’ve learnt and 21 prepare for training the new word “dress”. Have the Ps answer my questions. “Four seasons in a year. I like _____. _____ is (warm / hot / cool / cold) / (green / red / yellow / white).”

Ps can tell the whole class which season they like and describe it.

Review the seasons and the weather that the Ps have learnt last lesson. And T can elicit the new words.

Make Ps how is the weather in each season and can elicit the sentence and the word. 2. Revision

Ask and answer.

“How many seasons in a year? Which season do you like? How is (spring / summer / autumn / winter)?”

Practice in pairs. And encourage Ps act out in pairs. “I like _____. _____ is _____. ”

Ⅱ. While-task Procedure

“Which season is it now? How is the weather?”

And elicit the new sentence and the new word. Ps can answer the question correctly. “It’s summer. It’s hot.”
