Unit 6 My e-friend

一、教学目标

(一)知识目标

1. 能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能有感情地朗读。

2. 四会掌握单词e-friend, e-mail, live, study, China.

3. 三会掌握单词和词组:send to, UK, …years old

4. 初步掌握句型:Does he/she …? Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t.

5. 能正确运用对话中的日常交际用语: Wait a minute.

(二)能力目标

让学生掌握“Friends”这一话题的相关语言知识,并能对自己的朋友或网友用问答进行综合全面的了解。

(三)情感目标

1. 通过本课的学习让学生对西方国家有进一步的了解,激发学生学习英语的热情。

2. 拓宽学生的交友视野,培养学生善于表达,乐于交际的能力。

二、教学重点和难点

教学重点:

1. e-friend, email, live, China, wait a minute等词汇的正确读音。

2. 对课文的正确理解和熟练朗读。

教学难点:

1. 感知和理解一般现在时第三人称单数的一般疑问句Does he/she …?及其回答。

2. 能运用本课的相关语言知识,对自己的朋友或网友进行综合的介绍。

四、教学过程

Step1:warm up&lead in

1.Enjoy a song “The more we get together”

T: What is this song about?

S: The song is about friends.

T: Today let’s talk about friends

2.Free talk

T: Who is you friend?

How old is he/she?

What does he/she like doing?

What subject does he/she like? ( students answer the questions)

T: Can you introduce your friends to us?

S:My friend is...

He/She is...years old.

He/She likes....

He/She is good at...

T:We all have friends. Wang Bing also has a friend. But his friend is special. They can't meet every day. They chat on the Internet. Wang Bing has an e-friend. Let’s know about Wang Bing’s e-friend.

Yang Ling's e-friend

favourite subject is Chinese. She thinks Chinese history（历史） is very interesting. She is good at singing and dancing. She likes watching films and swimming at weekends. Her favourite movie is "Harry Porter". She also likes Jack Chen very much.

Mike's e-friend

Mike also has an e-friend. His name is Li Hua. He is 13 years old. He lives in Nanjing,Jiangsu Province, China. He studies six subjects at school. He likes Maths best. He likes drawing and reading storybooks after school. He is good at playing football. He is a member of school football team. He often plays football with his friends at weekends. His dream is to become a football player when he grow up. He wants to play in the World Cup.
