教学内容分析

这是一篇涉及新西兰，地理情况，历史发展的一篇文章。文中涉及的新西兰岛屿，海域，气候，人口，名族等专有名词值得注意，以及学生需要掌握关于新西兰的地理知识以及历史知识。

学情分析

高三学生虽然已经掌握大量的词汇，但依然存在许多问题，尤其选修11的文章比较长，学生在理解上可能会认为有些难并且会感觉枯燥无聊。因此，让教师应该循序渐进，让课堂生动起来，让学生掌握理解问题的方法，帮助学生增强信心。

教学目标分析

1 帮助学生了解更多关于新西兰的知识。

2 训练学生对城市或是国家的介绍以及表达能力。

四．教学过程设计

Step 1.Lead-in 1) Ask the students whether they like go sightseeing. 2) Ask the students to introduce what their favorite country. 3) Traveling is really interesting. Now I will show you some beautiful pictures. Try to guess where these pictures are from. Step 2.Warming up

Introduce the information about the country. 3)

Ask the students what they know about New Zealand. Work with a partner and decide whether the statements below are True(T) or False(F). Step 3.Reading 1)

Skimming. Complete the topic list below to show what each paragraph is about. 2)

Scanning. Answer the question about the two parts（geography and history). 3)

Step 6.Homework Write your own summary on New Zealand. 五. 教学反思: 本节课目的明确，思路清晰。学生在课堂上收获良多，课后反应很好。但也有不足之处。今后会多加注意，多以学生为主体。
