Step 2 Presentation To master the new words Take one arm and one knife. Pretend to cut the arm and say “I cut my arm, it hurts.” Let the students guess the meaning of cut, arm, hurt. In the same way, teach toothache, stomachache, sick, doctor.

To master the New sentences

Ask a student to pretend to be sick. Then ask the student “What’s the matter? Are you sick” Repeat the sentences, make sure the students understand their meanings. Encourage the students to read the sentences in groups.
