Module 3 Roy’s Story

(Listening and Vocabulary) I. Analysis of the Teaching Material This module is mainly about friendship. The topic is very interesting and practical. It is useful for students to get to know the true meaning and friendship as well as what they should do when their friends make mistakes. This passage consists of four parts. The first part introduces how the author gets to know his friends-- Roy; the second part talks about some detailed information about Roy’s change; the third part is about the author finds Roy stealing things by accident and the last part leaves a question for students about how to deal with this friendship. Students can get the main ideas of the whole story following the time line. And they are also helpful for students to develop a correct attitude towards friendship.
