一、教学目标：

知识与能力：1.学会并掌握单词及短语：Christmas, Christmas tree, Christmas lights、Christmas gifts、Santa。

2.能用所学词汇、句型能简单的介绍圣诞节。

过程与方法：通过对圣诞节的学习和初体验，让学生了解西方文化。

情感态度与价值观：通过学习，让学生了解关于西方国家最盛大的节日----圣诞节，培养学生的跨文化意识和学习英语的兴趣。

二、教学重点：掌握本课单词和短语：Christmas, Christmas tree, Christmas gifts、Santa、Christmas lights、invite our family and friends to our house、bring gifts for us、give our family and our friends gifts、sing Christmas songs

教学难点：长英语句子的表述。

三、教学过程：

Step1:Greeting.

Step2:Leading-in. 1.Look and listen,What holiday is it? 2.Do you like the Spring Festival? 3.Why do you like the Spring Festival? Step3:Presentation

1.For western children,What`s their favourite holiday? 2.Learn and study the new word“Christmas”. 3.Learn and study another new word and phrases“Christmas tree”、“Christmas gifts”、“Santa”、“Christmas lights”、“invite our family and friends to our house”、“bring gifts for us”、“give our friends and friends gifts”、“sing Christmas songs”.

4.When is Christmas?Show the topic《Christmas is coming！》. Step4:Practice 1.Guess the word or phrases behind the numbers. 2.What`s missing? 3.Make the Christmas tree beautiful. 4.Show and act. 5.Finish part 2. Step5:Conclusion
