【教材理解】本节课《Lesson 12 Be Safe on the Way》是冀教版三年级起始小学英语六年级第二单元故事课。本单元的主题是

“School In Canada”，讲述了李明来到加拿大后走进学校学习的情况。单元围绕李明来到Jenny的学校的学习生活展开。

本课是单元内容的拓展与延伸，讲述如何保证上学路上的安全。以“Talk about traffic safety.”为话题展开教学，讨论关于交通的安全常识。在学习本课过程中，学生不仅可以巩固本单元所学的频率副词、掌握阅读技巧，而且思考如何注意交通安全。

【学情简介】教学对象是六年级第一学期的学生，他们已经有了基本的英语语言积累，可以简单的组织语言发表自己的观点，探讨如何注意交通安全，但也有些学生最不擅长的就是阅读，因此教师要鼓励并引导学生发展阅读策略，增强小组合作意识，鼓励努力积极的每一位学生，让他们体验英语学习的成功与快乐。

【设计理念】本课课程设计遵循课改宗旨，在核心素养的背景下，设计体现人文性与工具性相结合，在注重培养学生语言应用能力的同时，提供给学生可以带得走的知识体验。教学在四位同学的讨论对话中深入展开，通过略读、寻读等阅读技巧的渗透，读前、读中、读后各环节的学习，多媒体设备、实物教具的创设，引导学生理解、思维、联想及运用。

【教学目标】

学生能根据图片和文字理解故事大意。

学生能理解并用英语表达道路交通安全。

引导学生在阅读和学习中逐渐培养略读、寻读、预测等阅读策略。

在讨论理解故事的过程中增强孩子们对道路交通安全的自我保护意识。

【教学重难点】学生能运用多种阅读策略理解故事内容，并能阐述如何注意交通安全。

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warming-up (2mins) 1.

Greeting How’s the weather，today？

2.Free talk T: How do you go to school? S1: I take a bus. T: Do you always take a bus to school？

T: I always go to school by electric What can you see on the way to School? S2: There are so many cars and buses. How to be safe on the way? (设计意图: 激活学生交通安全的话题,并创建一个放松的氛围引发学生思维。) Step 2 Pre-reading (3mins) T: let’s enjoy a video about traffic accident and talk about it together. T：How to be safe on the Introduce some friends and guess what happened in the story. (设计意图: 设计交通事故安全的话题,初步感知这一话题。) 比较医生醉一种最起码的抵押注销很.

Step 3 While- reading (15mins) There are three parts: （1）Watch the story video and get the story’s main idea then do some easy exercises. Let’s look. ★ Tick or cross.

Let’s begin our first reading. （2）First reading: Here are two parts: 1.Ss read the story as quickly as they can and try to get the general idea by answer the following questions, they can underline the 2

information on the book. 2. Teacher deals the new words with students. （设计意图: 我通过学习的新单词和短语,他们理解阅读,扫清障碍，为下面的学***道路。）

（３）Second reading: 1.Read the text carefully Ss read the story more carefully, and get the information . 2.Then I will ask some students to tick or cross which is important of traffic safety, then cheek the answers. 3.Write six key phrases of traffic safety on the blackboard. Then read and ask. （设计意图：这两个任务的目标是培养学生的阅读能力。略读文章的主要思想,扫描的具体信息。然后得到一个故事的深刻理解。）

Step 4 Post-reading (17mins)

Here are 4 Tasks: 1）Task1. Imitate in roles. First, imitate together. Second, read together. Third, imitate in roles. （设计理念: 通过学生模仿、跟读、齐读和分角色朗读，在语言知识方面不断提高，相信所有的孩子都有所收获。）

2）Task2. Act in roles. Group Work: Students look at the pictures and use the key sentences of story to say” How to be safe on the way?” They can choose one picture or some pictures to talk about. Different students can choose different level activities as they like. （设计意图: 学生不仅学习语言知识点，更重要的是在这节课中学习合作的精神,培养自己解决问题的能力。充分体现了工具性与人文性的过渡与衔接。学生可以根据自己掌握英语的情况自己选择角色，无形中分了层次,不同水平的学生都得到了锻炼。）

3）Task3. Talk about in groups. I give some pictures about different kind of traffic safety. Students 3

talk about in groups. （设计意图: 学生看图谈论交通安全情况，自己创建一些对话。既而把学到的知识变成自己的知识，可以在日常生活中常常使用交通安全用语。

Task4. Be a policeman. Do you want to be a policeman? If you are a policeman, what will you say? How to be safe on the way? （设计意图: 学生将会扮演警察上交通安全课，带上警帽的感觉一定很不错。学生整体学习气氛浓厚，积极踊跃。）

Summary: Watching some traffic accidents. Feeling the true situation. T: How to be safe on the way? Ss: Always watch for cars and buses. T: Always remember to be safe on the way! （设计意图：观看中国交通事故的镜头，学生在真实的情境中感受、学习、领悟。）
